I bought this knife for my partners birthday, he loves cooking and loves his knives even more. This knife is perfect! It’s well balanced and absolutely stunning. The blade its self is incredibly sharp and glides perfectly through any food item. My partner couldn’t be any happier and is finding any excuse to use it any chance he gets. For anyone looking for a beautiful, sharp and unique knife then this is the one!!! Will definitely be purchasing more in the future!!

Just outstanding

I really enjoy cooking and I’m good at it but I struggle with arthritis. A knife to me has to be sharp, functional and add to the experience. This does all of that making my life was easier and is a joy to use. I love the sharpness, the balance and the design on the blade is excellent.

I work as a chef and due to this I'm constantly on the hunt for reliable knives for work. I'm had this knife for a week now and can say I'm very impressed with its versitily and design. No job is too big or small and is yet to dull even a little bit as I use it 12 hours a day.I would highly recommend giving these knives a chance as it's a good price for what you get in return.

This is the lightest knife I've used, but it is still very comfortable in the hand, very sharp, so no problems slicing through root vegetables. In saying that I will be using this knife in preparation of shashimi, sushi, smaller vegetables and garnishes etc... as the blade is nice and thin. Very happy with my new knife, even looks great in the kitchen with it's colourful handle. Thank you Hajegato blades!

It's works and it looks decent enough. It's sharp, but not the sharpest and honestly I'm not a fan of how thin the blade is. Also mine turned up with a small hole near the edge in 1 layer. After a few washes the cap to the handle has warped and now won't stay on.For the price it's not worth it. It's not as sharp, the thin blade worries me (no experience with this sort of blade). So far as of owning 1 Damascus kitchen blade, people oversell Damascus blades. I'll be sticking to my £30 - 60 high carbon steel knives with a decent thickness.I have yet to try and sharpen the thing with whetstones, but potentially I may be back to give it a better review.

Update:Finally, finally, finally received my knife! I don't know why Amazon informed me that it was delivered on Sept 22 when it wasn't and delivered three days later, but now it is here! And after inspection I am pleased to inform that this exchanged knife is free of flaws! Not quite as sharp as the exchanged flawed one but it'll do, and I can sharpen to a surgical sharpness when needed. The quality seems very good and am happy with my purchase.It is a western style blade, meaning that it is sharpened on both sides and should serve me well in my job as a chef. I purchased this on a whim because my current petty knife is nearly at its end of life and wanted a "better" one. I will update as I use the knife as to its overall quality and usage. The handle is based on the Japanese octagonal shape and forms well within your hand. The metal has a "partially" Damascus look but it's layers in the Japanese metal of VG10 (as true Damascus steel would begin to rust if left wet and would be much, much more expensive than this knife). Also the "hamon" line is not real, more like a design, but can't complain at the price of this knife (not yet anyway lol).Upon inspection of the blade itself I found a divot, like something pointed fell upon the metal near the handle. I requested an exchange and this process was quick and easy. I then mailed it out via UPS as directed. I still have not received my exchange as of Sept 24, 2023 yet have still paid the price of $94.15. I was sent a notice by Amazon stating it was delivered, Sept 22, but have not found it anywhere in the locations that Amazon delivers to so am unable to give a review on the exchanged knife as I have not received it.

Should be a option for male or female colour.I got super feminine colour scheme.Still a fan of the knife,, thing is a treat. Beautiful steel, sharp and cuts like a dream.Now the colour thing. I actually wanted because of the unique handle, just wish I would a got one that was more manly. Lmao

No me ha gustado nada: el mango dicen que es de madera y es de plástico o resina y el supuesto damasco parece un simple acero grabado. Corta bien, pero lo he devuelto porque no es lo que prometen...👎🏼
