Good product, customer service has been decent
My fence was shipped with two boxes of small parts that contained identical parts. I was missing the fence clamp and mounting plate and associated bits and pieces. Someone was asleep during packaging up the product.I contacted Kreg with the issue. After waiting a it too long and prodding via the phone, someone got back to me and sent out a package. I had asked if they knew what I needed and really got no response even though I described in detail what I had received. I didn't want to end up not getting everything required.Well, a few days later I received a package with almost everything I needed. They did not ship a critical part. Ugh. It took several days and a few attempts to get through to Kreg yet again. Once I did they got it taken care of (not received yet, but do not doubt it is on its way).Feedback for Kreg CS. Some better attentiveness the first time around would have avoided having to go through this exercise twice. It was easily avoidable. To their credit, Kreg customer service, once they responded, were very helpful and gracious. It did take some time to get their attention each time, but with a little patience, they did come through. The product itself seems well manufactured and sturdy. It pairs well with the Kreg Professional router table top.Overall 5 stars, but just. Cutting them a little slack on the mishap with packaging (it happens) and dropping the ball during the CS opportunity. They recovered, and nobody got hurt in the process, and I think it is a decent product. I've had a few issues with Kreg packaging now. I like the products, generally, and CS seems good, but packaging is sketchy.UPDATE: I received the missing piece, the rail that attaches to the table against which the fence locking block slides. It was damaged. Very disappointing. While it had not been properly packaged, it was clear the damage was there before it was put in the box. There was nothing else in the box to cause the damage. The aluminum was gouged and very rough in two places a few inches long along the bottom edge. I wondered if it was a factory second pulled out of somewhere. I decided it would not impact functionality and proceeded to install it. Frankly, I'm done with what has been a several week project that should have taken 1-2 hours. I could have fabricated my own router table a few times by now.I am leaving the product rating as is although I really should take off a star. To Kreg, I really hope someone from your company that cares reads this: while CS has been responsive and helpful once you get their attention, packaging has been an issue on the on each of the recent four Kreg products purchased. Each has had irritating design, manufacturing or attention to detail flaws all easily remedied. I carefully consider most purchases, and from here on out, extra scrutiny will he applied to Kreg offerings due to experiences over the past few months.

Solid made router fence with a lot of thought put into it but could use some minor tweaks.
Solid made router fence with a lot of thought put into it. Easy to use, easy to adjust, the slotted channels are great for attaching accessories to. BUT.... It could have been better IMHO. There are screws through the face of the fence with adjustment handles on the back so you can set the opening for the router bit. When you adjust the opening, when you go to tighten the handles back down you either need to put your finger on the screw head or get a screw driver to tighten it back down. I feel like they would have been better with bolt heads that don't spin or a different fastening method. The vacuum port seems to come off way too easily but better that than it break off I guess easy fix by attaching the hose to something solid so it doesn't pull. It also would have been a plus if they fence had a place to put accessories you don't want to lose like the router starter pin for free hand work, maybe the extra collets and other small parts. The only other thing that I can think of that could be improved would be the plastic micro adjuster.

This will not work with a cast iron table saw extension.
Great product, I like the quality and the adjustment features of the fence. I could not find a way to mount it on my Bench Dog cast iron extention on my table saw, without it interfering with table saw fence.

Fence adjustment is troublesome.
The product has promise (with modifications on my part). The fence is bolted with 4 bolts to a metal clamp that spans a steel channel which is screwed securely from the base into the table. There are 3 things I don't like about the product. First, there is no screw mechanism to move the fence in either direction; their tiny add-on product is a engineering joke. They supply a micro adjust, which is border line crap. First one has to release the typical Kreg compression clamp that rides on the opposite side (same one use on the bench-top table). Second, you have to grasp the center and the end with the metal clamp. At that point you have to coordinate your hand movement with the tiny scale (that you calibrated). I found that troublesome. I would much rather have a long screw mechanism (with a wheel at the end to turn the screw) to move the thing. The second thing is the clamp. I just don't like these types of mechanisms. I does not lift the fence, but it has to be adjusted perfectly with the various nylon screws that center the gismo; otherwise the metal mount will invariably rotate. The next thing I don't like are the screws to attach the front wood panels mounted on the fence. I'll have to glue the flat head screws into the two front boards so that I can turn the knobs in the back without having to use a screwdriver as well. The last thing I don't like is the flemsey vacuum connector. I use a flex 2.5" hose which naturally contracts when the vacuum is turned on -- sometimes causing the connector to disengage from the fence. Having that flex tube connected to the fence is another drag on setting the fence up accurately, but I don't know how to avoid using such hose. Does Kreg expect one to disengage the hose before each fence adjustment? Apparently so.In my mind, Kreg engineering should manufacture a long screw mechanism to move the fence along the channel.I'll have to solve these problems in some fashion. I have a lot of Kreg products which in general I like. Kreg's technical support is excellent. Not sure about their shipping department, as the first table top shipped to me did not have protection in the most vulnerable part of the entire table. A second one was shipped within a week at no cost to me.
