We ordered this blender when our Vitamix failed for the second time in less than a year. It was about one-third of what we paid for Vitamix and is what we should have bought to start. Our primary use is making thick smoothies and “ice cream” from frozen banana slices with protein powder. It does a wonderful job on both. For the ice cream, it’s faster and makes a much thicker blend. The container is better, too. More blades and a solid top design that seals well and will stay put. While it doesn’t have all the fancy program options of Vitamix, it just does the job very well. The Vitamix does have a 10-year warranty, but the drive socket is “designed to fail and be a consumable item” per their phone support. But they force you to send the whole thing back. Apparently, they don’t trust me (a mechanical engineer with multiple patents) to replace a small part that requires tightening an Allen screw. Apparently that’s the case with all of their “consumer” blenders. The Cleanblend is a commercial product, and I can see the drive socket is a more robust design. We’ve got the repaired Vitamix back but have stored it away—the Cleanblend is a superior product. So if you want a blender that’s up to frozen desserts and thick smoothies, Cleanblend is the clear winner. Better, faster, less expensive too!

I wanted a blender for making smoothies. That was all really. I have made ice cream as well and I am getting a little more adventurous now. I know that you can make all sorts of things with blenders now, but my review is basically of the Cleanblend as my daily smoothie machine. I have used Blendtec and VitaMix blenders and while there is some variation in the final product the difference between those and the Cleanblend if anything is negligible. I took a chance on this because the price was significantly less and the reviews were positive. I am very happy with the purchase and I have been using the blender daily for over a month with no issues at all. I would definitely recommend this product. The only thing I could say negative about the Cleanblend in comparison to the others mentioned earlier is that the warranty is much shorter (2 years). I am not terribly concerned about this though. I feel like I got great value in this purchase regardless. *** Update *** And I spoke too soon. Plastic is shredding off of the piece of the base that spins, it makes an awful noise and the base tries to spin while in operation. This all began while making a typical smoothie. I should have bit the bullet and bought the new VitaMix model at Costco for $374 (it also has a 7 year warranty). I guess I will try to have it replaced, but I would rather not have it now to be honest. Trying to save $174 on something I intend to use for years was not the best decision. I left it as 2 stars because there is the possibility I got the bad unit, I don't know. I was happy initially so I can't give it 1 star for breaking. *** 2nd Update *** Cleanblend's service could not have been better. Initially I wanted a refund and I was going to buy a different blender, but they were so quick with responses and accommodating that I decided to stick with it. I have my new blender now, they did not make me ship the defective one back and I received a refund. Could not ask for more, not to mention that all took place in a short period of time. I went back to my original 5 star rating because the product itself I am very happy with. I am going to assume that I happened to receive one defective unit, they went above and beyond taking care of it so I will base my rating on the working product. It has a very potent electrically powered motor with what I would imagine is a fair number of moving parts and stress bearing parts. Fails are inevitable. Hopefully I get years of use out of my blender now.

I rarely write reviews, but since Cleanblend isn’t a huge company with a lot of marketing, I figured a review was warranted. I bought this back in March 2026 (it’s now July 2026) and I’m very happy with it. I mainly use it for making salsa and Mexican sauces and it does a really good job. When I make my sauce, I do strain it, however, I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary because the blender does a good job at blending everything. If I had to make a complaint it would be that I don’t like the cord storage underneath. The clips do secure the cord, but occasionally I don’t wind the cord up right and the plug will stick out past the feet. I also wish it had less clips to hold the cord because they just kind of get in the way. If you want something better than a Ninja but don’t want to spend Vitamix money, this is a great choice. Everyone knows of Ninja, but I don’t think their blenders are very good. I think people think they’re good because of their marketing and they’re in a lot of stores. I’ve been told that making peanut butter in a blender is a good test to see how good of a blender you have. I made pretty decent peanut butter, but it was my first time doing it, so I don’t know if it was the blender or me.

Before this I was using a $100 Oster blender. It sucked. It was underpowered and loud. It would leak from the bottom. It would constantly kick the smoothie liquids up the sides of the pitcher every second so I could never get a thorough blend. I ended up getting a refund from Oster directly. They have a good warranty and service. I'll give them that. The Cleanblend has the power you need to make a great smoothie in 30 sec. to a minute. Handles tough fibrous veggies like kale and crushes frozen fruit with no problems. Creates that vortex in the middle to efficiently blend everything. With the Oster I would literally have to blend for like 3-5 mins just to get an ok blend with visible specks, and sometimes chunks, of food. The Cleanblend pulverizes everything nicely and uniformly. I love the simple dial control and switches. It includes a handy spatula and even a decent quality nutbag which was helpful for something else I made (squeezing cucumber for tzatziki sauce). However, the lid and tamper had poor quality control or manufacturing. The lid's rubber ribs were not cut cleanly and had frayed edges. A huge piece of rubber was hanging off one of the edges that I pulled off. The lid's removable plastic cap had a very sharp burr on its side. Then the top of the tamper, the rim's indentation was all scratched up and had sharp edges all along it. The pitcher and base looked fine. I emailed their support and they responded very quickly and issued a replacement lid/tamper. I don't like how it took a week for them to deliver the replacements even though their office/warehouse was only 15 miles away from where I live. The replacements were better but still not perfect. The rubber ribs were cut a lot cleaner but the underside had imperfections in the corners. The plastic cap had a burr again but it was smaller and wasn't sharp at least. The tamper's rim wasn't as cut up but it still had scratchy places on it. The replacement lid didn't go in the pitcher as tightly as the first lid. The first one fit very tightly. The replacement was on the looser side. I found the replacements acceptable but they clearly need better QC or manufacturing because those parts didn't exactly have a professional quality look or feel to them. I was surprised by how much quieter it was compared to the Oster. On high the Oster had this annoying, piercing sound that made you wanna cover your ears. The Cleanblend doesn't have that. It's still going to be loud because it's a blender but I found it very tolerable. If your kitchen is not close to a bedroom I think you can get away with using it in the mornings. Even medium speed could be sufficient because of its power. Like I said it makes excellent smoothies, which is what I mainly bought it for. One thing I'm noticing though after using this for ~4 months is sometimes fine strands of spinach will get wrapped around the screw on top of the blade and occasionally around the shaft underneath the blades. This is very annoying and I have to use this special brush I bought (it's like a miniature toilet brush) that's bendable to break up and remove the strands. It takes like half a minute to clean out the screw but can take a lot longer for the shaft because it's much harder to reach and clean since it's underneath the blades. If I didn't have this brush I would have no way to clean the shaft. It only does it with spinach. I've tried lettuce, kale, collard green, swiss chard, and they're all fine. I don't remember this issue happening when I first got the blender. Might have to contact support if it happens more frequently. Also, the top of the motor base has these four posts, similar to a Vitamix, that are supposed to hold the pitcher in place at the corners while blending. But these are not positioned accurately. They don't hold the pitcher securely and it can still rotate sometimes while blending. Why they didn't place them a little further out I don't know. It seems like that's all they would have needed to do. Oh and in the manual there are instructions on how to "sanitize" the blender. They recommend putting dish soap/water and running the blender for a minute, then letting it sit in the pitcher for a couple minutes, pour out the mixture and then just letting it air dry. As in, don't rinse out the soap. It specifically says "do not rinse after sanitizing". What?? Regular dish soap does not sanitize anything. It helps carry away grease and germs with WASHING. Letting the residual soap mixture just dry in the pitcher is disgusting. I can't believe they would put that in the manual. Please don't follow those instructions. Despite all the flaws and imperfections, I've been pretty satisfied with the Cleanblend. The base and pitcher seem to be good quality. They definitely need to work on QC or remanufacturing for some parts. The company touts their warranty and customer service as one of the main benefits of buying from them. They seem to be living up to it. So I do recommend Cleanblend. If you're trying to get in the habit of drinking healthy smoothies everyday having a strong blender that makes a good smoothie does help. If you don't want to shell out for a Vitamix (I don't) this is a much more affordable alternative. Forget the cheaper blenders. Spending a little more for a much more powerful blender is definitely worth it. I don't have to deal with half-drinking/half-chewing my smoothies anymore.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I needed to take some time to review this product. I have a business that makes smoothie bowls and I have been through three different Vitamix machines. (mostly because they have a reputation for being the top of the line.) but I’ve returned all of them because they continuously overheat and lock up in the middle of production. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at this unit because it has far surpassed the output that I ever got from any of the Vitamix machines, it’s powerful. It’s fairly quiet and I’m about to purchase two more. The only thing that I would say to the company is the cleaning of this unit, especially the lid is not the easiest. This unit says that it can’t be washed in the dishwasher so it does make it a little challenging in my particular circumstance, but I’m very impressed with this machine and I would recommend it to anybody who has either had a Vitamix or considered one.

I DO NOT recommend it. I bought it based on the majority of the reviews, overall. I should have believed the few negative reviews. Apparently, by the reviews, some people just need a blender for light duty tasks. Cleanblend does NOT handle heavy duty tasks like the Vitamix does. If you ever had a Vitamix, don’t bother buying the Cleanblend or you will regret, return and end up buying a Vitamix anyway. As much as the Cleanblend is a little better than the $19 cheap blenders, it does not compare to the Vitamix in ANY aspect. With the Pandemic of 2020 I started to cook everything from scratch. This means, pulverizing nuts, brown rice, etc. for homemade gluten free flour, making almond, cashew, coconut, etc. nut butter, and all sorts of fresh coconut products for a recent attempt at a Paleo diet. RESULT: Cleanblend DID NOT crush ice (yes, I used ‘pulse’) in my protein shake or smoothies so I had to drink it full of ice pieces of average 1inch. It did whip a ‘heavy cream soy alternative‘ to a fluffy state, but the $19 blender also does that. Cleanblend did not fulfill the purpose of my purchase: it was unable to pulverize my almonds or other nuts into nut flour, let alone make nut butter. It could not even start pulverizing my brown rice or beans like my Vitamix did (unfortunately I left my Vitamix when I moved - airplane packing needs to be light). When I tried to do it, even using pulse and resting after every 20 or 30 seconds, the machine would release a burnt smell and make bad noises and the blender cup was about to break. I hope I can return this Cleanblend and bite the bullet and buy the Vitamix. I was trying to avoid buying the Vitamix again because I just bought a KitchenAid with attachments, and all that would go way beyond a grand (and, still, other machines will be bought to face the Pandemic adaptations of life and diet). I will accept my mistake and go back to the ever trustworthy Vitamix. I hope my review is useful to others that want to make an informed decision. And I hope they let me return this unsatisfactory Cleanblend that did not serve my purpose at all.

We got our blender just over three years ago and have loved it. We had a KitchenAid we'd purchased here for $80 that finally died after six years and we used it enough that we wanted to upgrade with our next one. After doing a bunch of research, we settled on the Cleanblend 3HP (the KitchenAid was 0.9HP). It had the features we wanted: high-powered motor, all metal drive for durability, 64-oz jar, long warranty. And it was at the edge of affordable; there's a huge jump between the blenders in the mid-range price tier like this one and the high-end, nearly 100%. I remember getting it and it felt like it should cost twice as much as our KitchenAid. It was heavier, the controls had a nice weight to them, and it was obviously well constructed. It was solid. It's been excellent, handled everything we've thrown at it, and I am positive we made the right choice. I took one star off the blending power because I think it's a valid criticism that the *low* power doesn't get low enough. But I don't think you can get a blender that at high power does a better job than this with things like nuts and berry seeds. However... after three years, the motor died. It started throwing our 20 amp breaker occasionally (tried on multiple circuits) and degraded quickly over two weeks to the point that if we turned it on, the breaker flipped. So I had to take a step I always dread: contact a company about a warranty issue. Cleanblend's policy is pretty simple: everything is covered by a five year warranty and if you have a problem, just send an e-mail (which I prefer over phone calls anyway). I sent my e-mail and someone quickly got back to me. I had two interactions: the first confirming the details of the problem I was having and the second to get my shipping info. I had my replacement blender in less than a week from first e-mailing support. There simply isn't a smoother consumer support process (maybe Apple). The customer support rep of course said that "Cleanblend has a very low defect rate", but I believe them: you can't have a process that easy and still make money if this happens a lot. I'm confident that our replacement will last even longer. Before contacting customer support, I prepared for the possibility of having to buy a new blender. Glancing at The Wirecutter, it looked like the research I did three years ago is still valid. The Vitamix is still the best, but for over twice the price you're only getting a somewhat longer warranty and a wider variation of speeds (feathering pulse isn't as effective, but I can live with it). I might have gone for the Oster, but... I probably would have just gotten another Cleanblend and gambled that the new one lasted longer. It's been a great blender. Luckily, that was all wasted effort. If the replacement dies in two years, I'll get a new one no question, knowing that I won't have to think about it again for at least five years. But I expect it to last quite a bit longer than that. And that's a large part of why I spend more on a product: I put a lot of research in to what I buy and once I've made my choice, I don't want to have to think about it for a long time. If you're taking the time to read all of this, then you're in one of two camps: you're debating whether it's worth it to spend this much on a blender versus just getting something cheaper or you're debating whether you want to spend more on a top-end blender versus saving some money and getting this. In either case, if you have to think about it, I think the answer is easy: just get the Cleanblend. It is more than worth the price.

We bought one of these blenders about 20 years ago, a 2 HP one, and it is still working fine and blends much better than the cheaper ones. I don't know if this one is the same brand, but it is 3 HP, and it is very powerful and totally commercial grade. I just now finally loaded it up with bananas, pineapple, strawberries, and coconut milk to about 2/3 full. I turned it on for the first time, not knowing if I would need the whatchamacallit to hammer it in. No need. The bananas and pineapple and strawberries were soft enough for it to get started right away. It took only a couple of seconds to blend it all. I left it on for another 15 seconds or so just in case. What a great smoothie! This machine is a monster. I'll have to test it with the apples and cantaloupe for which I had to use the whatchamacallit pole dabber to get the stuff twirling at the beginning. This one comes with this whatchamacallit thing, which is why I bought it instead of the cheaper ones. My other one has this device, and it worked well. And the three horsepower is pretty good. I poured the contents from the mixer to an old half gallon plastic milk container, and it filled to the top, and I put it in the fridge. Good enough smoothies for several days. This is a monster blender, well built, and with good controls for variable speeds and such. It should last a lifetime. It is money well spent.

Three years ago after busting the motors of two cheap blenders, I thought of getting a more powerful one, and discovered this, which, while being as powerful as a Vitamix or a Blendtec, was much less expensive. When it was delivered, the courier collected a hefty duty and tax. But when I started using it, it was very reliable and powerful. Even then, from my experience of busting the motors of cheap blenders, I had been extremely careful not to overload the blender by blending my usual green smoothies in small batches. Despite my careful ways, however, just two weeks ago, there was an acrid smoke and the motor made all sorts of funny noises. Fearing a fire, I turned it off. Facing the prospect of getting yet another blender, my heart sank, but then I remembered that the warranty of this blender was five years. As I had nothing to lose, without my expectation, I contacted Cleanblend through my Amason orders. The response was more surprising than I imagined. The customer support from Cleanblend responded to my enquiry promptly, and within 10 days or so, it sent me a replacement blender. As I have dealt with so many untrustworthy sellers and companies, the responsible behaviour of Cleanblend so impressed me as to restore my faith in humanity. As the replacement was delivered today, I had to test it. I immediately noticed that the jar is wider and shorter, and the blade is different. In using it, I noticed that it is far more efficient, as it made my usual green smoothie almost in half of the time. Well, anyone who likes to have a powerful blender but is reluctant to dish out a minor fortune for the better-known brand blenders, Why should a blender, which essentially is an electrical motor, be so expensive, I just could not imagine, and I, for one, am not going to spend a small fortune for a better-known blender(, although I must admit that I did spend a small fortune to buy such a one as a present for a girl-friend, who showed no appreciation for that).. I have no hesitation to recommend this.

I`ve been using this blender about three times a day since Christmas 2016, and it has been great. It is relatively quiet given how powerful it is. The switches and motor feel solid and well built. Eventually the plastic container discolored from dark berry stains, but that was ok. However, after about eight months of use, a hairline crack developed in the plastic container near the base which started to cause leaking. I made the decision to buy this blender based on price, ease of use, power, quality and customer satisfaction reviews. In particular, other Amazon reviewers often noted excellent customer support. The clear message was that this company honors its warranty. I saw this as a safe bet. And now, nearly a year later, I can add firsthand that this is true. I emailed the company reporting the leaky container. They requested my order number, which was retained in my Amazon account records. In less than a week I had a new container with blade and lid. Thank you Cleanblend. You deserve these 5 stars. I will continue recommending this top quality affordably priced blender to family and friends. UPDATE June 2019: After two and a half years of daily use, the motor on this blender gradually started to lag and surge independent of how the power dial was adjusted. There was also the tell tale smell of a burning out motor. I notified Cleanblend of this problem, and I was promptly informed that I would be sent a new blender, just as simple as that. Within about a week, true to their word, the new complete blender arrived. This is a company with a warranty to depend upon. I have been using the new blender for a couple of weeks now, and am very happy with it. As much as I liked the first one, this newer model with it's redesigned container makes noticeably smoother smoothies. It is heavier than the earlier container, but the plastic is thicker, and it has a more substantial rubber clad handle. It's shape is different and a bit larger - slightly wider, rather than taller which means that cleaning around the base is easier. There are also two additional blades which likely add to the machine's efficiency. A five star machine from a five star company. Thank you, Cleanblend!

After looking around for a powerful blender at a reasonable price I'm so happy I came across this on amazon, never heard of Cleanblend before so after a bit of research on youtube and Amazon USA I decided to make the purchase. Been using it a few weeks now and have made all sorts of of smoothies and ingredients in this. It really is powerful I literally just take some frozen broccali out the freezer bang it right in with a pint of water and some kale and click down pulse a few times and out comes a healthy smoothie. Also used it to make peanut butter and almost powder for thickening sauces, again was just a matter of putting in a kilo of almonds pulsing it a few times until I got the right consistency and bam job done. How someone could spend £650 on the market leading 2.2 HP blender when you get 3 HP with the Cleanblend for £150 is beyond me ! The working parts are all metal so it feels nice and solid and not some cheap plasticy mechanism.

So after 3 days of reading reviews comments and articles I finally took the plunge and bought this beast. Verdict is: I love it They always say you get what you pay for. In rare instances, you actually get more than what you pay for. So is the case with this blender. Incredible power solid construction and a price that should make the big names rethink their price points. This blender directly competes with the Vitamix, and Cleanblend and is more than half the price. What's crazy is that it does so without compromising on performance and so far, quality. This begs the question, if I can get this product at such a good price ($200 Canadian in my case), how can these other guys be charging upwards of 500-600 for essentially the same product? It's almost feels unethical. Now I can't comment on longevity as I've only had it for a week, but it I've relied on other reviews to guide my purchase and they are overwhelming glowing. So I'm hoping this thing will last as long as everyone says. It's also backed by a 5 year warranty so that also speaks volumes. If a company is willing to take the hit on defects for five years, it's pretty telling that their financial guys have done their homework and determined that this machine is good enough to make that offer without destroying their profit margin. Very good sign. On performance I can definitely comment. I bought this blender for a specific purpose. I started making home made sriracha sauce. The recipe I use calls for the peppers to be blended then strained then boiled down to thicken. Now I'm a health nut so I want to keep the nutrition high by not boiling all the healthy stuff to death (those who ferment will know what I'm talking about). I ran my peppers in this blender for about 3 minutes on high. When I was done, it was all smooth and pretty much the exact consistency I wanted (half way between frank's and ketchup). I didn't have to boil it down or add a thickener. Plus the sauce keeps all its probiotics. That's a win for me friends. So to make a long story longer, I'll finish by summing things up into pros and cons. Pros. -Quality seems on point. Solid jar, big base. -Very quiet (surprisingly quiet) -5 year warranty -as powerful as the big names -turns stuff into smooth liquid pretty quickly Cons -no preset buttons so can't turn on and walk away -very tall so doesn't fit under my counter when assembled -Design is very basic, nothing shiny or eye catching Conclusion: For what you get, and what you pay, I cannot justify going with anything else. A couple of presets would have been nice bit not am extra $300 nice. So in the end, I feel like this was one of the best deals I've scored in my online shopping career (it's an expensive career) and I highly recommend this item. Happy blending!
