This is so much better, quicker than a hand pump. I use it around twice a week to charge my gun and so far can't fault it. It is noisy but that's expected due to the nature of the job it's doing. I never leave it running unattended and haven't tried the auto stop function. It runs at around 35°C for most of my fills but expect that to rise a bit in the hotter months. For the the price I'm really happy with it.

Because I have no experience of other PCP compressors I'm a little disadvantaged when reviewing this model. However I ordered it because I wanted to have a way of refilling my rifles without the bottle due to lockdown restrictions. I was not disappointed. After ordering I saw a review that mentioned a £78.00 import tax which frightened me slightly so I cancelled my order. The company contacted me and said they would send me one from their UK warehouse without the import duty so I accepted their offer. It arrived very fast within a few days and I was a bit apprehensive about it's use. Putting it into use was a breeze just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. It's not fast but it did the job very well, the gauge was accurate and agreed with the gauges on my guns. The cut off worked as expected and although I wouldn't want to, it would be possible to leave it to fill the gun and come back after it had finished to unhook it. It was a must for me to go for the more expensive model with the cut off and both the mains and 12v options and I don't regret it. I have tried to use another extension hose on it but found for some reason it will not get up to pressure when the hose is attached. A bit of a mystery why but not too much of a problem. It has since transpired that the additional hose had a one way valve which was sorted and now it works fine with a three foot hose. In summary I would say it is convenient to use, worry free, and quite efficient. It also saves me the inconvenience of trips out to the dive shop to refill the bottle. I'm not sure it will pay for itself in a long time but it makes life more easy than filling bottles at the dive shop. I'm more than happy with the correspondence i had with the company who were reassuring and quick to respond to my questions. The compressor arrived way before the stated date and does what it says it does so, simply and efficiently. It is a cheap Chinese copy and does the job it set out to do. Whether it will last is a question I can't answer yet but I'm happy with it so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for a PCP compressor on a budget. Not perfect but not bad.

After six months of use (topping up only) the compressor gave up and to be honest it worked fine but the sound it made was dodgy from the start of using it. Silicone oil was added every so often as recommended. At one point I heard a boom and it was over. It turned out that it blows 30 Amp fuse and the reason was the connecting push rod and piston cracked. The seller sent all the necessary electronic and other parts except the most important one, namely the connecting push rod. The photos of the damage were sent and yet the seller pretended that he did not understand what was really broken.So in the end I was forced to buy this part from Tuxing on Amazon and pay roughly 20 quid.How pathetic!

PCP refills

Compressor was great when working. After three months it wouldn't fill either of my rifles with air. The gauge would rise to the low level it had in the reservoir and then fall back down and would not go any higher. It was the same with both guns. It's a pity as I liked the machine very much when it was working and I am considering buying a new one when refunded. I would rate it 5 star when working.
