The idea is good but the product is terrible
The idea is good but the product is terrible.It doesn't follow the baby, but force your baby to follow him. My baby throw it away in 2 minutes.1. you must push the button while speaking.2. you have to train him at the beginning, before finishing, my baby got frustrated3. keep asking if it doesn't get the expected answer4. To tell a story, you have to answer tens of questions, at the end, the story is just a composition of your answers5. To sing a song, just play a random song, no way to select. Most of songs are for adults, not for kids.6. stop working when power-off then power-on

Disappointed
Well I bought the little Dino for Christmas as a gift for my son, who love anything echo like. But the setup for the Dino wasn't easy then once I got it working, it did not understand my son at all not once. Which was a little odd to me because it is seven and speaks clear. Then when we asked the Dino to tell us about space, it started a story about animals. Which end with my son handing the toy back to me and going to bed. The next day I say we should give it another try. The toy would not connect to the wifi all over again, started making a strange noise the said I am sick and cannot play anymore. After that it would not turn back on. I changed batteries and nothing. I did return it and the company was nice and refunded the money but I want a working toy for my child. I was thinking maybe there was just something wrong with that one and buy a new one but now after reading these reviews in not so sure anymore.

Funny Jokes and Stories made the whole family laugh!
The exceeded my expectations! When my dino told jokes, my whole family laughed....and I was really happy with the way it knew my child's name.We have been playing with this every day! Looking forward to seeing how they update the app and what new tricks he will do down the line.Great product for a 5 year old Birthday or holiday!

Great gift for my nephew
Really a great gift for my 6 yr old nephew, I appreciated the engaging interaction and learning, important to note that it did not find my local wifi automatically and I had to type in the network name and password listed on my router, easy enough but not clear in the instructions

Why didn't we have this when we were kids?
Really fun and engaging item. I wish we had technology like this when I was a kid. There are a few challenges with this item with the voice commands but it's no different to me than using your phone speak and say commands. I think the entertainment and techonogly factors trump the sometimes voice - technical issues. I can def understand how it's annoying to the adults but this is for kids and they're still having fun, it's all that matters. My nieces love this. They're really into dinosaurs too so this was a win.
