Instructions say you need them and you do.-Be creative. I didn’t have a workbench so I used my trash & recycling bins covered with a blanket. See photosPros:-Excellent fit-Very light weight. Can be done by one person.-Easy install (just be sure to prepare with weights and prop stands)-Curing time is short. I left it overnight.-Plenty silicone was provided. I didn’t use an entire tube.Cons:- Prefer better expectations set of potential installation challenges.-Prefer more installation alternatives for tough areas i.e. the glove box area, the left of the steering wheel.(I ended up using clear, thick, two-sided tape I had on hand to hold these areas in place because my tension rod continued to slip in these areas due to weird angles). Good fit. I found it was necessary to apply a bead of glue the size of a cigarette, then spread it with my plastic-gloved finger, in order for the skin to adhere to the underlying dashboard.

Looks much better. For 2006 Lexus RX330 fit perfectly. Hardest part was getting edges down around front of dash. It wasn’t 100%, maybe 85% down on the edges. But it looks 110% better so not worried. My elderly mom’s car so the dash wasn’t picked on like some of the before pictures. But we went ahead and purchased the cover for her as my 20 something nephews thought they should pick at the cracked dash the other day. Ding dongs…

Just about every Lexus of this era has a sticky, cracking, and deteriorating dashboard. It's so ugly and most covers look pretty terrible or don't cover all the damage. The only area it doesn't cover completely is the passenger side air bag. Lucky for me that area on my dash is still in good shape. It came packaged well and damage free. The instructions were surprisingly good and I found the two tubes of silicone to be plenty. Installing was pretty easy as a two person job. Snaking the cover through the steering wheel was the most difficult part. Tape your left and right pillars as instructed because you will likely hit them during installation and they scratch easily. The edges of this cover are a bit sharp. Fit up is as good as you could expect really. Color match isn't quite perfect but it's very close. The textured grain finish isn't quite the same as the original dash but again it's close enough. Visually it looks really good and a whole lot better than the original damaged dashboard. I recommend this dash cover. It seems to be the best choice available.

It’s good and fits perfectly to my model year Lexus. Not that difficult to install but needs a lot of weights to make sure the glue sticks well with lots of patience waiting for it to cure.

I read the reviews and noticed that customers were having trouble with the adhesive, so I purchased 3M dongle sided auto tape and it works perfectly.You will need to make sure to clean the original dashboard with something to remove any existing residue before using tape. I used acetone, applied it to a rag, wiped the dash, then followed up with a dry cloth so it didn’t damage the dashboard. Then immediately after I placed the tape and let it sit for a little before placing the cover. And it worked.The dashboard cover was a great purchase. Sandalwood was the color I needed. It’s a little bit off from the actual dashboard but no one will even notice.

The glue is hard to get out. I felt it wasn’t fresh. It has clear silicone adhesive in metal squeeze tubes like toothpaste. It was very hard to squeeze it out and took much longer than it should’ve just to apply the adhesive. This creates a problem on a warm day. Also using small sandbags wasn’t good enough. You need to create a specialty type of weight I can fit in all the proper places. It is a close fit, but not a perfect fit.
