This cable worked fine attached to my Canon 6D. I was able to down load all my pictures from my Canon 6D to my computer. With no problems

Canon EOS 6D USB Cable/Download cord
On some days it is better than nothing. But there have been too many times when the download starts and then stops for a either a mechanical or or electronic connection issue. It is very frustrating when you are trying to download 300 + RAW files. . Never was sure if it was incompatible with my USB ports, camera ports or download software. The original download cable that came with the camera was great! At any rate I don't have time to fiddle constantly with the cord/connections so went out and bought a card reader for under 10.00 and it works great- all the time, every time. I do not recommend this purchase.
