⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Game-Changer for Running with My Dog (Even a Shiba!)
I’ve had this Neewa Canicross Belt for about a month and used it on several trail runs with my dog. I honestly wish I had bought it sooner. It’s been a huge help for my back and makes a big difference with managing his pulling. Now, this belt might be designed with huskies or larger pulling breeds in mind—but my Shiba Inu can pull. He zigzags all over the trail, sniffing left and right, and has the stamina to run 20+ miles if I let him. Going downhill, he used to yank me hard, but this belt really helps me stay in control without fighting him.Funny thing—after a few runs, he figured out he couldn’t pull the same way anymore, and now he hardly does. So in a way, this belt actually helped train him.---✅ Pros:Takes pressure off my back. Huge relief compared to holding a leash.Great for controlling pulling. Especially on steep trails or fast sections.Encourages better behavior. My dog learned quickly that pulling hard doesn’t work anymore.Comfortable for long runs.---❌ Cons:A bit tricky to put on at first. There’s a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it's quick.Needs some adjusting mid-run. I usually tighten or reposition it a couple times during longer outings.Best over tight shorts or leggings. Doesn’t sit right over looser running shorts. You step into it like pants. Not a huge issue, but worth noting for quick changes.---🐕 Extra Note:Because my dog zigzags, the way the belt allows slight side-to-side movement makes him feel like a little sailboat catching wind—he’s not pulling hard, but he’s guiding just enough to stay in rhythm with me.---💭 Final Verdict:Would I buy it again? Absolutely. I’ve looked at more expensive options, but this one does exactly what I need. I do want to eventually upgrade his harness to match better, but for now, this setup works really well.

Durable, quality construction
Bought it 5 years ago, still going great. I cut off the parts that go around your legs/thru the crotch - better for running that way.Dogs and I run 30+ miles every week. It is very sturdy, well made. My dogs pull a lot, mainly in the first couple miles, then they chill out and kind of pace me the rest of the way, at least until they see a critter that excites them. This cups the butt cheeks and stays around your hips, much better than a waist belt which can be kinda brutal if a dog tries to bolt on you.Build quality:Good stitching, strong material - my dogs are 65lbs and 45lbs, good gear

Been waiting to purchase this!!
My little boy finally turned two. Pulling as an exercise isn’t suggested for his breed until around 1.5yo, so I thought this would be a good 2nd birthday idea. I was right!!! He loves it! Fit me just fine. Would not even try fitting this on my husband, so it’s not for every body. I’m not slim. I’m just an average height and weight lady. Size 8/10 and 5.4’. Looking forward to many more adventures with this!

Game changer. I'll never go back.
Works like a charm! I seriously don't know how I ran with my dog before getting this harness. It's well made, light weight, and super comfortable (which I was concerned about before using). There's a little time required to figure out your ideal fit, but once you get it you're all set. After that, it takes about 10 seconds to get it on and hooked up to the pooch. I do recommend using a bungee leash to make it easier on both of you.My dog is faster than me and that's never going to change, but this kinda evens things out a bit. It not as easy for her to drag me off trail after a squirrel, and I'm much more confident in our run since this harness sits just below my hips instead of my waist, which gives a lot more control (even on slippery surfaces like pine needles or leaves). It's easier for me to keep running for longer and our mile time has improved so I know she's getting a better workout, which is the most important thing as she's 1) BIG and 2) inexhaustible! She knows the sound of me stepping into it now and as soon as she hears it she's excited to get out the door. This is the real deal if you looking for an awesome hands free running set up. Your dog and you back will thank you!

Great but not perfect
I’ve been using this belt harness every day for months now and it’s nearly perfect. Let me tell you about the two things that keep it from being totally perfect. First, the leg straps buckle in the back, so for all you big booties out there like me, just know the leg straps will eventually come undone every time you bend over to pick up poop. It wouldn’t be so bad except it’s impossible to buckle the straps back again without removing the entire harness. And before you ask, yes, I am buckling it correctly. The next thing that takes away from this being perfect is the front strap that connects to the leash. It’s kept in place with two other buckles. Any time my dog takes a turn, the ring gets caught on the buckles. It’s not the worst thing on earth, but it is absolutely annoying that every 2 minutes I’m having to release the leash ring from the side buckles.Other than those two things, this harness is perfect. It gives me a nearly hands free dog walking experience that frees me up to use my phone or pick up poop. For reference, my dog is an 80 pound husky that pulls hard and loves to run. I’ve taken a couple tumbles while we’ve been out and never had to worry about where my dog was. It’s a great harness, but could be better.
