How does this compare to the bose soundtouch 30 series 3? i can’t see any reviews only, i’ve had the bose and it was amazing

Had a Bose Soundtouch and gave it away, not a patch on the play 5 sonos. After that I ended up replacing my bose acoustimass setup for the Sonos play base and a sub woofer and it sounds fantastic. Not cheap but well worth the spend. The Sonos app is also very good and works seamlessly.

Why is this so expensive on amazon? its 200 cheaper direct from Sonos

Check it isn’t from a market seller. Amazon are usually the same as Sonos unless it’s not fulfilled by Amazon.

Can i use a rca switch box to have both a cd player and turntable going into the line in?

I,think you can only use one at a time but if you have 2 Sonos fives then plug one into each.

What is the correct cable needed to connect this with my Sony Bluetooth turntable - it has phono amp included

From the phono amp you just connect with a phono to 3.5mm audio jack. In the app you then need to switch to line input and make sure it knows it’s a turntable.
