I ordered this for my husband, he has a mix of regular ties, skinny and slim ties. It fit his regular and skinny ties but not the slim ones. He loves it so i plan on ordering more in different colors.

It has a classic look and solid build. The teeth hold wear, but are non-damaging. The spring is taught. The profile is nice and tight. I like the chrome finish on this tie clip very much. I own quiet a few tie clips and all of them are either shiny or decorated in some way which at times takes away from the tie. I wear a lot of patterned silk ties that look a bit too "busy" with decorated tie clips so I am really happy to finally have one that is sleek and simple. I really appreciate that this came in nice packaging (a velvet pouch in a nice box) which makes storing it convenient, I do lose things A LOT so having a designated place to put the tie clip after use is really convenient. This works like any other tie clip I've had, keeps your tie in place, looks good, and makes a statement.
