Can this be used in a pond?

Hornwort submerged pond plant is an excellent oxygenating plant for fish ponds. The hornwort plant forms a dense mat and does not develop roots. Like other submerged pond plants, it receives nutrients from the water and helps keep water clear.

What kind of plant food does hornworts need?

No plant food required if you have fish or other aquatic creatures living in the water. The biological filter will provide nitrogen.

Will this kill off other aquarium plants as it consumes a lot of nutrients?

Difficult to say since I have no idea of the size of your aquarium or number of fish or number of other plants but it seems unlikely that this plant would kill off other plants.

Got many white stuffs on leaves—are those gel for shipping purpose? Or what those are and would it melt/disappear over time?

It is calcium carbonate it comes off over time or if you gently rub the leaf it also comes off. Personally I leave it on as it benefits the plant
