Does What It Says
Pros: Effective in hard water areas, helps control odours and keeps the washing machine maintained with regular use. Cons: Packaging is weak, they can do better for liquids, and it may not fully remove heavy existing build-up in one go.

Good for RV black tank
We got the Calgon water softener for the black tank in our camper. I think the recipe is called the Geo Method. Google it. After emptying the black tank put 3 capfuls of Calgon and 3 gallons of water. Let it sit or drive around, then flush out. Seems to be keeping it from smelling, but we only go #1 in ours, and never any toilet paper. Never empty your black tank and let sit completely dry, especially if you go #2 in there. RV tip of the day!

J'utilise ce produit depuis plus de 20 ans car il est vraiment très efficace. Je voudrais profiter de ce commentaire pour remercier grandement le vendeur pour son excellent service à la clientèle. En effet une des bouteilles que j'ai commandée est arrivée endommagée et donc il manquait les 3/4 du contenu. J'ai contacté le vendeur qui a immédiatement fait le nécessaire pour m'envoyer une nouvelle bouteille. J'ai grandement apprécié la rapidité et l'efficacité du service rendu. Merci beaucoup!

La réputation de ce produit n'est plus à faire. Le bémol est peut-être son prix un peu élevé. On dit que des alternatives naturelles comme le vinaigre blanc, le bicarbonate de soude ou l’acide citrique peuvent offrir des effets comparables sur l’entretien et le détartrage pour un cout moindre.
