As advertised
Works as advertised for Soda Stream bottles. Replace the black rubber seal with the Clear seal prior to connecting a Soda Stream bottle. Be careful not to drop the Clear rubber when first opening the box as it was right on top for me. If you can't find it right away, remove all foam packaging as it blends in really well. It is very easy to control the psi dial. I use this for home brewing.

The instructions are very incomplete.
This regulator is designed to work with a Soda Stream CO2 cartridge. Correct threads that obviously match the cartridge. The unit came with a thick black seal ring installed. It is too think to open the cylinder valve which needs to be pushed down. The black seal ring had to be pried out and replaced with a thinner clear plastic seal ring. This worked but when mounting the regulator some gas will be released before it is fully seated to the cartridge, so one must keep turning until it is seated. Once seated there were no leaks, and the pressure was regulated properly. None of this information was included in the instruction sheet, which was mostly in Chinese. When the regulator was fully open the gauge read less then 60psi, which I expected because the bottle had been used.

Gasket is too thick. It does not work with Soadstream bottles
The rubber gasket is so thick that the actuator won't press the bottle release valve. It works if I remove the gasket, but then it leaks gas constantly. This is the exact same Sodastream bottle show in the seller's pictures.

It works OK
Bought one a month ago for a keg setup. Upon unboxing it appeared that the regulator had loose parts, scratches on the exterior, metal shavings, metal burrs visible on the all the threading I could see but worst of all did absolutely no regulation and dumped liters of CO2 into the keg. Had it returned and replaced. I am satisfied for now as the unit functions, isn't apparently leaking. It could use better included instructions and some better cosmetic indicators for use on the knob.

Don't hate and leave a bad review for this regulator. Follow these instructions.
Works well, follow the instructions from the other helpful reviews. When opening, do not lose the clear gasket. Use a needle nose plier and remove the thick black one; replace with the clear and make sure it seats all of the way down. When screwing in a Sodastream tank, CO2 will escape for a second while it's seating. It will be loud. Just keep twisting until it's sealed. Again, works well. They should probably just have the clear gasket installed as default, given the number of comments.

Good and work fine
Nice and does the job, will like if it come with an option to change the side of the output line, use it for the soda machine and a 1L canister. Needed to create an adapter to be able to connect it to 5/8 od

Adjustment is sensitive
Hard to adjust low pressure but does work as described

Did not work with soda stream CO2 bottle
gasket is too thick and would not seat properly with Soda Stream bottle as advertised. Tried another seal and bottle leaked quickly resulting in total loss of CO2. I suggest reading other reviews before selecting this device. Very Disappointed.

Figured it out pretty quick. Here are instructions before you buy.
Threads fit very well!! The pressure adjustment knob is very sensitive. A small twist can be 10+psi change. Works good enough once you got it dialed in. (Pro tip. Wrap painters tape or other low adhesive tape around the knob and body of the regulator to prevent bumping it by mistake) Please note you need to swap the black sealing washer in the regulator and fit the included clear sealing washer. (Depending on tank age) This can be tricky to do but should only need to be done once. To do so. Use a small flat head screwdriver and gently pry the washer out. Being sure to not scratch the surfaces. (Scratching surfaces will permanently damage regulator. Will no longer seal. This is the tricky part. The threads are smaller then the washer to help keep the washer installed in the regulator and not fall out during tank swaps.) Once you've surgically removed the black washer you can insert and fully seat the clear washer that's included in the kit. Using the flat head screwdriver to gently persuade the clear washer into it's seat. Congratulations you're regulator is now ready to use with soda stream blue type CO2 bottles!

Brilliant idea
This is the most practical way to carbonate home made beer or cider. It screws directly onto the Sodastream bottle. No adaptors or hoses necessary. I can conveniently exchange the tank at any supermarket for just $13 and it makes 60 litres of beer which is less than I drink in a year. The tank is slim, so it easily fits in the door of my mini fridge. No expensive, large and heavy CO2 tanks to carry around. Thanks to other reviewers here, I immediately removed the thick black o-ring and swapped it for the thinner clear one included in the box. They should have just shipped it with the clear o-ring to avoid confusion and negative reviews. Or at least provide clear instructions. My only complaint is the scale on the regulator. It goes up to very high pressure. 10-12 PSI normally used for beer carbonation is at the very bottom of the scale and hard to set with precision.
