it's certainly cute, but it came folded and rolled up in plastic with tape all over it, and it wasn't easy to open. after getting it open, I noticed it smelled a little funny. Also, the flag was sewn in the middle of the 'pole' that just sticks to the bed with velcro.... so I had to pull that apart and resew it all. I let it sit outside for a bit before I let my dog see it. I managed to snap a few cute photos of her in it before she lept out and looked at me funny. I decided then that it needed a wash. I ran it through a gentle wash in my machine and let it air dry. sadly, the pillow in it shredded at the seams and I had to sew it up (not a big deal for me considering I'm thinking of just making a new pillow for it with better material) all the 'non stick' stuff on the bottom of the bed basically just came off in the wash, which is fine since it's just sitting on carpet. it's a super cute bed, but my dog hasn't been very fond of it... I think the smell just left her with a distaste for the bed. at least it looks cute sitting in the living room of this pirate's house.
