A waste of time

Will not charge battery
This item does not work on my batteries and it’s weight does not correspond with having a transformer inside the casing. This charger was recommended for my battery drill but even though the battery fitted it would not charge and just the power on light to the charging unit kept flashing.I purchased a new battery for my drill which worked on my drill but when I put this new battery into be charged it did exactly the same. This charger came from China and is too expensive to return.

Battery charger replacement
Works and charges battery although a little slower than original, however as others have said it is a very tight fit and had to lever out battery when charged. A little filing and much better fit. A good price so worth the effort.

It’s Ok
I needed a replacement charger as I have misplaced my original one. You can’t seem to buy the Makita charger new now. Charges batteries fine the only problem is getting them out one they are charged. The fit is very tight. You need the strength of a bodybuilder to remove the battery. Would I buy it again knowing this? No. It was needed for an emergency job hence why I didn’t return.
