Ubiquiti GigaBeam | airMAX AC 60 GHz/5 GHz Radio with 1+ Gbps Throughput (GBE-US)

I ordered two of these to replace two Tplink CPE710 that were failing to deliver anything over 400Mbps on a good day. I spent days troubleshooting the Tplinks, swapping cables, resetting and configuring again but never saw the claimed 800 plus Mbps claimed. The only thing remaining to try was using different CPEs and I chose the Ubiquiti Gigabeam AirMax AC. I literally configured, mounted in the locations the CPE710s had originally been, rough aligned and had full 1 Gig speed in less than 1/2 hour. The software is very detailed but not overly complicated. I was so thrilled at the performance that I intentionally deleted a 36 GB game to just download it again. Was very pleased to see 100MBs and a the download complete in less than 7 minutes.The rest of the RV parks network is also TPlink but now considering phasing it out in favor of all Ubiquiti. Cost more, but in this case I got what I paid for.

I would recommend Ubiquiti Unifi with 100% confidence.I have installed 15 systems from their Dream Machine to the Dream Machine Wall with attached NVR storage for proprietary security cameras and have only one complaint... AVAILABIITY!!! One or two pieces are typically out of stock and can take weeks to months to become available again.Makes it hard to contract and schedule installs.As product, however, FANTASTIC!!!No more annual licensing for devicsndservices l8ke with Cisco.Cost is also more than reasonable.

The item arrived well packaged and on time. I ordered 2 of these to use as a point to point for internet access. I installed them roughly 300' apart with clear line of site. I'm passing 300 mbps with no lag or speed loss. Easy to install, aim and configure.

I installed two of them to connect a house to an out building to bring the internet connection to the outbuilding. the link was only 119ft long but there was a driveway in the way that would have made it difficult to run CAT6a to the outbuilding. We aimed them in the general direction and got -52dBm and a link speed of 1.6Gbits. Good enough for me not to try and get the last 6dBm that the controller said we would have been getting. Latency across the link is 0.1ms and Duplex is 800Mbits BiDirectional. There is a small NAS in the house and now the computer in the shop is getting full gigabit speed file transfer to it. I also added an AC-WiFi5 wireless access point in the outbuilding to get around 600Mbits from my phone to the NAS, not bad at all. The house is on rural wireless internet and plugged directly into the modem I get 40/20 Mbits upload and download. I also get exactly the same speed in the outbuilding. Not really taxing the connection for the internet however if the speed in the house in increased the outbuilding will follow no problem. There are plenty of 2.4/5GHz solutions from other brands but most of them get 20Mbps at 200 feet, the GigaBeam is the way to go if you want to "future proof" the connection.
