My 99 yr old Mom in law is in assisted living. I bought this doll for her. She loves it! Rocks her and tells her stories, sings to her. Never puts her down.The only thing I think could be improved is her little outfit. Her cloth neck shows. If you pull it up to cover her neck, then the cloth on her thighs shows. My mom in law doesn't seem to care. She keeps her wrapped In a receiving blanket most of the time.She loves her! 💕

This doll is my mom's Christmas gift this year and I gave it to her today. Before I gave it to her though I did some informal research on therapy dolls for seniors with dementia and read about its benefits, so I bought this doll for my mom who has advanced dementia and is in a nursing home.In the research, I found out that it's not best to just hand the doll over to a senior with dementia because they may think you're treating them like a child or it may not be received well. So before I ordered the doll I showed my mom pictures of different dolls on my phone and she loved the dolls that were smiling. She knew they were dolls and not real babies, but she loved that they looked real. Her favorite was Lil' Sprout, so I bought her that doll. When I received the doll, I was impressed because the face, skin, and hair were well done, and realistic but not creepy. I bought newborn booties for her and a baby blanket. Today I went to visit my mom and had the doll in a large shopping bag. I wanted to introduce the doll to her casually so I had a "pre-gift" of cookies and candy and we sat, had lunch and I took her outside in her chair for a while, later when she was winding down. I brought her to her room and I said I have another gift if you want it. Before I took the doll out of the bag, I showed her a picture of Lil Sprout from my phone again and of course, she thought she was adorable. So when I took the doll out of the bag - she said "give her to me, give her to me! "(in Spanish) and she cried a little because she was so happy when I gave her the doll. I was beyond happy!

This doll is a birthday-Mothers Day gift for my mother who is turning a proud 89!! The joy of having her still with us is beyond measure. She loves quality baby dolls, as do I. I showed her my 5 favorites from Ashton Drake. Finally she settled on this sweet doll. Amazingly she looks very much like her picture. Ashton Drake has a way of making the dolls look beautiful on its website and the actual doll is just not there. But this one is what you see. My Mom loves her.
