Great product, easy to use. Bought for my 2010 Dodge Charger. I was check engine, esp, and bas light all on at the same time. Was tired of paying outrageous price at dealer just to give a a diagnostic of problem. So I bought this scanner. It was easy to use. You down load the app, connect to your phone with Bluetooth. I did a health scan and it brought up the codes, then navigated str8 to the internet on how to fix the problem. I needed a speed sensor for check engine light, and a steering angle sensor for esp, and bas light. Here is the good part. I was able to use the scanner to reset the steering angle sensor. The scanner was only $120 and I spent a $100 dollars on parts, I saved about $800 by not going to dealership. Definitely recommend this product

Over good working scan tool just a little confusing to use and honestly for the price I feel like you should get all the software,resets,and data logs but overall satisfied with my purchase

I like the powerful that is this product.Used in a a 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 diesel. It's works for fine. It have lots of diagnostic and controls that helps you making your diagnostic.The only thing I don't like is that you have to purchase an annual subscription. If you use it one time a year or pass 2 years you don't use it you have to pay again the subscription.I recommend it for people that use it more frequently. Is a great tool for professional use.

I've read many mixed reviews on the Thinkdiag but eventually I came to the conclusion that I had to try it myself. Well so far, it's absolutely awful. My activation went smooth. But after that, none of the software would work. Couldn't run a scan of the ECM, no in depth controls, nothing. After about a full day going back and forth with the "support" staff on their ThinkCar Facebook, I was told to delete a folder on my phone. Did that. Reinstalled the app. I could run an OBDII scan. Good. I thought everything was fixed...it was not. I used the free software purchase on the GM make and once again, I'm unable to run a scan. I get an error message of a license failure. Not to mention all of the sketchy permissions they need to run the app such as location and phone permissions. I wish I would have never ordered this. Will most likely be returning. I've ready a decent amount of people's reviews saying it's fantastic and hey, if you order one I really hope it works for ya. But as it stands with my experience, I'm disgusted with it. $125 and a paid subscription service, that I can deal with. It makes sense. But a non functioning, problem prone device with an absolute mess of software bugs coupled with extremely lackluster support makes this a massive massive disappointment.

This thing kicks more ass than Chuck Norris in a room full of pedophiles. It’s not the fastest but it’s so convenient. I own a truck shop (light dusty diesel) mostly duramax, Cummins, Powerstroke. This will do cylinder contribution tests on all the engines it’s an option for, it has real time data logging. It even programs keys! 40$/year for each subscription Is cheap compared to the Snapon or autel up front costs. I’m this little thing and my iPhone XS Max do everything I need to do all the way down to commanding fuel pressure and cutting out injectors.

Yes, you have to buy each manufacturer's software. I stick to GM so that's not an issue. Live stream data has super quick response to app on phone. Great testing features. Fire off a coil or injector at will! LOL OBD2 functions are surprising nice as well.

In the box you get a thinkdiag unit to plug into your obd port in your car to diagnose your cars problems, but in my case I took the thinkdiag scanner out and put with the rest of my tools and equipment. Later finding I needed to use it because my Chrysler Crossfire was acting up and my Launch System computer didn’t not work with my car. So I pulled out the highly rated thinkdiag obd port scanner to diagnose my system, but found that I had to activate it. Thinking ok I have my unit plugged it in and no go. The unit had to be activated thinking ok I go through the steps and put in my serial number and then asks me for a activation code in a envelope in the box while I did toss the box. Great lost my activation code so I am screwed. Called the company 8 did dent times only to hit 0 for operator goes to a mailbox and never heard from again. Then logged into my account which shows no activation code but does have a chat function the no one reply’s back to so to round it out it has no customer service with no way to talk to a human or even a robo response. I really recommend not buying this unit if you can’t get any costumer service at all. Think twice before buying this unit or anyone of there products.
