Angelina Cotton Comfort Knee-High (DISCONTINUED)

Love these socks! I wear a size 7 shoe and they fit nicely without over-stretching or being too loose. I'm 5'6" and they come comfortably right below my knee again without having to stretch very much. The colors are bright and after washing in cold water and drying in the dryer, they didn't run or fade. Be sure to note (as others have said), if you order the 12 pack, 6 are the solid colors like you see in the photo and the other six are the solid colors with sparkles in them. Super cute! The sparkly ones are my favorites. They are comfortable and stay up well too. I like that they are thinner than the men's tube socks too so I can wear them in the summer. These are definitely women's socks.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these socks! I was a little wary of what to expect, having had bad experiences trying to purchase knee high socks before. I am a bigger woman, size 18/20, with thicker calves, and it seems all knee high socks, even those marketed to women, are designed to fit the legs of a 10 year old child. That was DEFINITELY not the case with these. Thinner women need not worry, they will fit you perfectly fine as well. I was just very pleasantly surprised to find they fit MY thicker calves too. They have excellent stretch, without being binding in any way what so ever, and reach ALL the way up to the knee, comfortably staying put without having to be adjusted every little while due to slipping down your legs throughout the day. And the quality of these socks are wonderful as well. Super soft, nice thickness, great vibrant colors, and the glitter pairs were a lovely bonus. Overall, I could not be more pleased with my purchase and intend to buy more of these fantastic socks. Thanks for the homerun product!!

Love, love, love these! I am petite, 5'1" 125# with pretty muscular legs. These fit great! I initially purchased some over-the-knee style tube socks in hopes of having that sexy, thigh-hi look that's very popular. Except they were waaay too long and looked ridiculous. But these knee high socks actually served that purpose...they go slightly over-the-knee and a bit up the thigh for a really sexy, cheerleader look! The colors are bright and the socks are really soft & not bulky. No color on the heel or toes. I can even wear them under strapy, platform high-heels! Only issue is washing them. Package recommends hand-washing, no bleach, air-dry. I tried that the first time and the bottoms were still dirty. I threw them in with my whites, used bleach and into the dryer. After several washings like this, the color is starting to fade. Just not as neon bright anymore. They held up fine.

I ordered these to play competitive kickball and really liked them. They fit really well (I'm a size 9 shoe) and the length came up high enough to almost wrap them over my knee. (As a reference, I'm a 5'9"/150lb female with an athletic build and long legs.) My biggest concern before ordering was the length since I needed them high to protect my knee when I slide and they definitely were high enough. Also, the colors are true to the photos and they look great!My only one small complaint is that they were a little on the thin side. I have other, name brand knee-high socks from playing softball and they were not as thick as those. I actually found that my ankles were bruised from kicking the ball high on a bounce a few times (mind you, in competitive kickball, guys pitch the ball really fast (around 30-40mph) and put a nasty spin on it so this may not apply to everyone). But I've never had my ankles bruised before so my only thought was because the socks were a little thin.Overall, I'm really happy with them and would recommend them to others who need fun knee-high socks for sports (and definitely for costumes!)

These knee high socks are terrific! They are durable, stay tight on your calves, and keep their shape after many washings. They are perfect to wear with my boots because they don't fall down while I walk; they are my go-to sock in the winter. I bought some Angelina knee high socks over a year ago and I loved them so much that I bought another six pairs recently. These have been the best socks that I've found, and they are a bargain for the price. All of my other knee high socks either quickly wear holes in the foot or lose the elasticity and fall down. These Angelina socks have been great at retaining their shape after many washings, but what I like best is that the foot is very durable. The neon strips are also fun, and add a little pizzazz to the standard black sock.

Let me start by saying I didn't get a discount for a review or anything. I paid full price for these bad boys- $22.99. And I would again. These are miracle socks. I've looked for MONTHS trying to find the fit I'm looking for- I've bought and returned 5 different orders from various companies. Stock up on these. About me: I'm 5'2", but the heel doesn't ride up the back of my leg. I also have massive calves- 18", yes, 18 inches, and any type of pattern on socks always stretches out/is warped by that point. I'm also training in powerlifting, and was looking for socks high enough for deadlifting. I'm basically the sock-impossible trifecta. These fit wonderfully over my calves (which is cute, but also necessary for competition), the fabric doesn't become 'see-through' when stretched. They are incredibly soft, so even though there's no padding, the bar glides well. The colors are very vibrant- richly saturated. These are perfect. I sincerely hope this review helps!!

I was worried that these would be thin & threadbare since the price was so low, but I was pleasantly surprised. They've been through my washing machine a few times so far, and they're still bright, soft, and new-looking! They are thin in the sense that they aren't terribly warm, but they are still completely opaque on all parts of the leg--there aren't any awkward thin parts where it stretches over the calf.Regarding fit: I am 120lbs and average height. These go up to just below my knees and stay put all day. And the elastic is comfortable too!Edit, 4 years later: they have now started to wear out after being used many, many times. I am very happy with how long these lasted!
