Phenomenal Monitor! Would 100% Recommend!
Last year, I had the pleasure of upgrading my workspace with the SAMSUNG CH890 Series 34-Inch ultrawide monitor, and I must say, it has been a game-changer in every sense of the word. From its crisp display to its sturdy build, this monitor has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The first thing that strikes you about this monitor is its display. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is spot-on, and the resolution is simply outstanding. The ultra wide aspect ratio adds a new dimension to multitasking, making it a breeze to have multiple windows open side by side (which I do a lot of!).The build quality of this monitor is top-notch. It feels robust and well-constructed, and the ultra-slim bezels give it a sleek and modern look. Setting it up was a breeze, and it fits seamlessly into my workspace. I use it with a mounting arm and it does very well in it's position. Note: It's a standard VESA mount! The picture quality is where this monitor truly shines. Whether you're into gaming, content creation, or simply need a monitor for work, the vivid colors and deep blacks make everything look stunning. The high refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, and I've experienced no noticeable ghosting or blurriness. If desk space is a concern, you'll love how well this monitor fits in. The ultra-wide format allows me to have multiple windows open without feeling cluttered, and the slim profile doesn't eat up valuable real estate on my desk. As mentioned above, it's VESA mount compatible if you prefer a wall/desk arm mounted setups (like I do!).I can't recommend this monitor enough. It's a fantastic addition to any workspace, whether you're a professional in need of a high-quality display or a gamer looking for an immersive experience. The crisp display, solid build, great picture quality, and ergonomic design make it a winner in my book.Pros:Crisp and vibrant displaySturdy build qualityExcellent picture qualityPerfect for multitaskingFits well with various desk setupsCons:None to speak of!I hope this review helps you make an informed decision. Happy monitor shopping!

Very good, you should also get an arm
This is my first personally-owned monitor over and above a notebook display. I’ve been working with it for the past week or so. I find that it suits my needs (mostly work) very well. The brightness and resolution are such that I can work fairly comfortably with this screen for extended periods. The brightness struggles a bit to keep up in very bright ambient light, but I can always read fine (and just close the blinds a bit). I haven’t yet tried much media, so I can’t yet speak to that experience. The best part is of course the spacious, curved screen. The monitor itself came fairly well packaged and in new condition. I find that the amount of screen to divvy amongst different applications enables much more effective visual organization of workflows, which is great. The hardware itself is also just plainly pretty cool, which makes it all the easier to sit down for work.I have no experience with non-curved ultra wide monitors, so I cannot offer direct comparison. Seems pretty good to me -- I don't think I'd want it another way.A huge plus that I did not consider before purchasing is the USB-C charging, which obviates the need for a notebook charger anywhere near work space most of the time.If you get this monitor, you really should consider getting an arm mount. The included stand is barely fine, definitely more wobbly than mounting the monitor to the table. Also, a good mount helps organize cables and frees up desk space. I got this one and it’s pretty great — the color also matches the monitor: ErGear 17"-34" Single Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085Y3XT5Z?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareWill update when material.

Perfect for Business & Productivity Use
I have been using a cheap 27" display on my home office desk. My desk is "L" shaped with the central corner facing the corner of my office with a wall on the left and windows facing the front of the house on the right. The central corner of my desk is rounded. I realized a 34" curved display would be a perfect fit, adding another 3 1/2" of screen on either side, and I had the room. I researched many displays, read the reviews, and decided I didn't need a gaming display. One article in PC Magazine recommended a display with USB-C and DisplayPort support to achieve the higher 100 Hz and higher refresh rates. I decided this Samsung display was the right combination of features and price.I am thrilled with my purchase. The Jog Dial to adjust settings is intuitive and on-screen controls very easy to set. The stand is sturdy and the display is very easy to adjust in height and viewing angle. The dark gray color of the bezel blends in perfectly with my dark gray desk surface. Colors are sharp. I had to get used to the high screen resolution of 3440 x 1440, but it's grown on me and I'm enjoying my increased productivity. Having multiple windows open, including remote sessions, and being able to see them simultaneously without having to minimize one and bring the others forward, is simply awesome.I don't play games much, although I do have Steam installed and I have Elite Dangerous. So I will try the game soon to see how it looks on the big screen. If you're in a home office and want a 34" curved display, this Samsung display is an excellent choice.

No issues with mine
I've liked this monitor. The size was a bit overwhelming at first, but using the PbP mode with two computers works great. I did have to get a new USB-C cable. The supplied one is terrible and stops working in a week. A few other reviewers have mentioned that. Picture quality is good. 1440p looks awesome. So, are there better 34"UW monitors out there? Yeah, but probably for a lot more if you want 1440p and high refresh rate. The monitor looks sleak and the bezels are pretty thin. For $600 I don't have any complaints.Edit: Tried using the USB-C and Display port for the first times and they are dead. I did try multiple new cables too. The USB-C port is also crooked in the housing, which sounds like a manufacturing issue. I probably had bad luck that others won't, but that totally sucks. It makes wiring my work from home set up much much harder. It would be nice if Samsung helped me out here.

Instructions could be better
As a monitor, using a PC with HDMI, this seems to be an excellent product with very good picture quality. My problem came in using a two monitor mount, which requires the arm Jane a 100 mm VESA plate. The supplied stand uses an elaborate lock system, and the instructions say to use a VESA mount kit C34H890*, which made me wonder if perhaps Samsung required a plate similar to that on the stand for the VESA mount. Even their support service did not know, and suggested I buy from the Samsung store. To shorten the story, such a plate does not exist: there are 4 small holes for the standard VESA M4 10mm screws, and a standard 100 mm mount plate can be easily attached.I feel stupid for having spent so much time chasing this rabbit, but the appearance of the stand mounting system and the mention of a “kit” with a number was the inducement to keep looking. I’m sure a pro wouldn’t be confused ( although support was), but a person who rarely deals with TV mounts can be confused, and a rewrite of that section might help.Happily, the only problem I see so far is with language, not electronics.

Near Perfect for MacBook Pro
My new 2019 MacBook Pro ironically did not work well with my older 2015 Mac monitor, or Mac USB devices (since new MacBooks only have USB-C ports). i.e. My USB Mac keyboard didn't work, even when using an adapter, and my monitor would connect, but not charge or extend USB ports. You'd think Mac's would be backwards compatible with their own products, but that's not the case. Imagine that... A MacBook, Mac Monitor, and Mac USB keyboard, and none work together! However this Samsung monitor fixed everything. Not only is the picture amazing, but it charges my MacBook, AND every single USB peripheral that didn't work, now does... Including my Mac keyboard. Also, it's wide enough to run apps side by side, which is extremely useful for me as a web developer. And the curvature makes it easy to see the edges in your peripheral vision. The only 2 things it doesn't have that I wish it did is: 1. ethernet cable port (ethernet is way faster than Wi-Fi for my work), and 2. webcam with microphone. This is not a huge deal as I just bought one and plugged it into the monitor's USB ports. However it would be nice to have built-in.

A bit too bright
Even at its lowest brightness setting this is a bit too bright, but if you like bright ...the construction is good - but a bit wobbly with the single mount - but then for a desktop its great.the mounting arm doesn't go up high enough so needed to put blocks under it so that I can see it behind my laptop. The Y base is nice design - minimal and strong. Great design (look).

MacBook Air M1 perfect widescreen
At the start of the pandemic and working from home I got two $100 Acer R240HY screens for my MacBook Pro. They worked ok but the screen resolution wasn’t amazing, especially for any spreadsheet or text reading and writing. But bigger screens made work easier. Then I upgraded to a MacBook Air M1. And discovered much to my annoyance that it only supports 1 external monitor! After 3 months I had enough of one poor quality Acer R240HY.I spent a few days researching monitor options and landed on a widescreen which essentially gives the MacBook the real estate or 3 external monitors.I can’t believe no one recommends using this as an option for M1!Widescreen is an absolute game changer. I have 3 screens worth of applications running at the same time. The screen resolution is superb (but no where near a Retina display). Really easy to setup via the usb C.The display doesn’t have speakers so if you use it in clamshell you need external speakers or headphones (I don’t use clamshell but do use AirPods).I can’t recommend this monitor highly enough, it transformed my home office setup!

Great for productivity and casual gaming
Great ultrawide monitor for productivity and casual gaming.Pros:- Bright display- USB Hub with USB-C output which works great for my Macbook Pro 2018- Joystick at the back for switching between inputs- You can adjust the monitor tilt + move it up and down on the stand- 100hz is smooth (coming from someone who had a 155hz monitor)Cons:- Colors are a little washed, especially towards the edges of the curve- The depth of the monitor with its stand is fairly considerable (takes half of my desk)

Very underrated screen
This screen is a very good product for the price. Unless you want to pay over 1200 $ for slightly better picture quality, this is an awesome pick for multi-purpose usage. I work on this screen, and also do some gaming at 100 fps. I also connect to my macbook pro with a single USB-C wire, which charges it, and connects all my USB devices at the back. Great value for the money so far.

Excellent Business Monitor
Bought this monitor to replace my old dual monitors. It works great. I recommend this monitor for those not wanting 2 monitors. The resolution (3440 X 1440) on this monitor is something to be seen.
