Paradise Herbs, ORAC Energy Greens Powder, Antioxidant Power of 24 Servings of Fruits & Vegetables in 1 Scoop, 120 Servings

I was fortunate to have tried the Paradise Greens, Protein+Greens, Greens+ and Green Vibrance. The one that seems to be the winner is Paradise Energy Greens and here is why:Protein+Greens - Taste takes some getting used too. Comparing it against the Paradise Energy Greens, the taste is more intense and it tastes more thick then the Energy Greens. Working out with the Protein Greens seems to be great. For one thing, its made from Pea Protein Isolate and has 21 grams of Protein. Its just hard for me to get down because its thicker and the taste is way more intense.Green Vibrance - This seems to have a more complete set of ingredients than the Paradise but there seems to be more of a Green Taste. i really wanted to like the Green Vibrance but the taste was too "greeny".Greens+ Original Superfood - No matter what I seemed to use for this product, it did not seem to mask or even remotely mask the taste. This one seemed to taste the "greenest". The set of ingredients seemed to compete very well with the Green Vibrance.I have been using the Paradise Product for about a week now. I feel like I have more energy and I feel better. The taste seems to be doing better as well. My wife had a hard time drinking this stuff in the beginning but seems to be adapting better. I use 1 part of Natural Apple Juice to 2 parts of water and 1 scoop of Paradise stuff. Then I use a Blender Bottle to shake it up and drink it. At first when I started to drink it, I had to plug my nose and down the mixture. Now, I find that I can drink it slower. I expect some form of weird after taste now but its not as bad as the first day.One nice thing is that by taking this, it has killed off the junk food cravings big time. I notice that it has done the same for my wife.10/19/13 - Update...Went to the doctor for my annual checkup. He had a machine that shows how effective your vitamins and supplements are and whether you are getting what is needed from them. Most Americans score in the red area meaning that they need to exercise more and eat more servings of fruits and vegetables. I was concerned that I would read in the Red as well being the last time I took the ORAC Energy was 12 hours before that and I had drank a lot of water. I was very surprised to see that I was in the blue indicating that what I was taking still remained in my system. Apparently, only about 1% of his patients scored in this area. The test is based on what was consumed in the last 30 days so, there is nothing that can trick the test. This test confirmed to me, that this product is not useless and it contains many valuable nutrients. Now I am sold more than ever on this product and would highly recommend it for anyone.

I may be a little crazy (my wife thinks I am about this stuff), but I take one scoop every morning with a small glass of water. I basically down it like a college drinking contest. You don't buy green powder for the taste, you buy it for the nutrients and benefits of the product. So, all you people out there talking about bad taste, just get over it, it's green powder, not chocolate milk. Don't sip it like a fine wine, get it down the hatch! :)Now for the benefits. I have been taking the Paradise brand religiously for many years now (way before I wrote this review). This stuff is amazing for many reasons. My hair is thicker (49-year-old male with no signs of balding - thick hair like no other). Nails and skin look healthier and overall health from common colds and flu (I don't do flu shots - should we really be injecting our body with antiviral serum?) are non-existent. I live in Atlanta, GA where the spring pollen is like a haze all during the month of March and April. Prior to taking this powder, I would come down with an annual respiratory infection from the intense pollen. I am not a doctor, I can't explain this and possibly there is no relation to the Paradise Herb powder at all, but I am telling you right now straight up, I don't get the respiratory infections anymore and/or general colds. Additionally, I feel better, my skin looks younger and people think I am younger then I am.Do yourself a favor, take a glass every morning, don't skip a day and see for yourself. After 6 months if nothing changes then stop using it. For me this product is great, I have seen the results. The benefits of fruits and vegetables are well-publicized, so there has to be something to it.Update - 4/23/15Well, I am still at it. One glass a day and still feel the benefits are genuine. Absolutely no colds, flu, sickness or respiratory infections (extreme pollen) of any kind. When I get my hair cut one of the first things the stylist always says is you sure do have thick hair. My response every time is that I think it is related to the Green Powder. I don't think it will assist in regrowing lost hair follicles, but there is definitely a correlation to how thick it is. BTW: I have absolutely no affiliation with this product what so ever other than a general consumer. Now if Paradise Herbs wanted to entertain thoughts of a spokesperson, then I would definitely consider it!Update - 10/13/16Well, now 52, here we are again and I am still taking one scoop daily with a glass of water. It is the first thing I do after I get up every morning. I have been doing this for years now and the benefits are real. I actually look and feel pretty darn good for a guy who gets limited to no exercise (that needs to change though). In general, this powder seems to be a great source of vitamins and nutrients, don't necessarily like the taste much, but I do like the benefits. I am not going to stop taking it, and I hope this powder has helped improve someone else's life as well.Update - 2/7/18Well, now 53. I am back to update another year later. I still religiously take a scope every morning. I usually get up at 5:00 am to get ready for work and taking a scope of Orac Energy Greens is the first thing I do. From an instantaneous perspective, I feel the product is great and helps takes the tiredness off in the morning. The long-term effects are very genuine and I am still a firm believer in this product assisting with fighting off illness as well. We are now in the midst of a very bad flu season, my daughter and wife have it bad (they don't take the green powder) and I have somehow managed to not get ill yet another year even being exposed in the same house! I really have no scientific evidence that my health is related to this green powder, but again I feel good, my skin and nails look good and people generally think that I am younger then I look. I am really not sure what else to say here, but purchase and try the product for yourself. I think you will be surprised at what a gradual difference you will start to feel.Update - 4/16/20Well, now 55. I am still taking a glass every morning. Still, a believer in the results and benefits of this product and my thoughts still echo what I have written above. Also, its pollen season again in Atlanta and no respiratory infection, in fact, I have not been sick with a cold, flu of any kind in years. Not sure it will fend off the Coronavirus, but I am healthy as of this writing! ;)Update 4/4:22Hi everyone! I am still taking this religiously, I am now 57 and believe that green powder is extremely beneficial to a persons health. I don’t know if everyone sees the commercials for balance of nature, they advertise on Fox news non-stop, this product from an ingredients perspective as a better product for sure. Anyway, I am still a firm believer I take a glass every single morning and see the results, I hope you do too! I've been taking this instead of vitamins. I take it before sleep because it helps your body generate new T cells...I'm a holistic nurse and this stuff is the best I've found. I use 2 ounces of fresh OJ...in a shaker bottle with one level teaspoon of greens then add one tsp of hemp seed oil...because a little oil with your greens helps the greens assimilate into all of your cells!!! It will combat inflammation!! Most produce that you juice leaves a mess and has been on a transport truck too long to keep any nutrients...but these greens are grown organically and freeze dried saving any nutrients...have you seen the list of ingredients? Holy Basil and adaptogens....provand prebiotic...get it...take it for life...your age will grow backwards!!

My whole family is taking it! My husband wasnt to convince at first. But definitely feel the difference (more energy and healthier) . We dont consume vegetables or fruits on a daily basis and this is so worth it . Taste is not as bad as other green drinks, it will easily dissolve in a small amount of water. Everyone should be taking this daily
