For the price paid it is a very nicely finished fitting. Went on with no issues in about 15 minutes, I used 3 wraps of blue monster teflon and pipe dope tightened by hand and no leaks. It does what I need and the price was good, I'm a happy customer.

The valve works great and looks nice. It's a pain to install in the position you want it in though. You have wrap on the teflon tape, screw on the valve, screw off the valve, and repeat the process... as many times as necessary until the valve just happens to tighten to just the right position. Not a good design in that regard but everything else about it fine. Love the longer handle.

This is the heart of a shower head rebuild I did. I selected this diverter because of the long handle. You do not need a long handle, because this diverter works so amazingly well. It has an extremely smooth action, that allows the handle to move with little to no force. Use a fingertip, and smoothly select the location of the water! Love it.This diverter was purchased as part of a shower rebuild after an old shower head had a plastic piece break. Since this, and all the other pieces I bought, are solid brass or stainless steel, I will never have to spend all the extra money again. It was CHEAPER to buy all the parts for a custom shower than buying a name brand quality shower head, and the shower I built is better, with better water pressure, better wand, better everything. This diverter is the heart of the rebuild, and I recommend it highly!

A generous chunk of brass nicely machined and heavily chrome plated; truly elegant. The valve itself is amazing: smooth, little force required, and the extra long handle makes it even better; can easily change positions with one finger. This may be the only diverter suitable for arthritic hands. So I certainly don't regret buying it but, to be honest, like others have pointed out, the inlet and outlets are not well designed.The inlet really should have a shoulder inside so that a washer can be used. It doesn't, and if you use a washer water flow will be reduced. So you have to rely on a huge amount of Teflon tape to hold the diverter in position, which I suspect will have to be redone periodically. I'm thinking of trying a locknut to hold it in place instead. If you look at other similar products, they tend to have a nut to tighten this diverter to the pipe coming out of the wall and then let you adjust it so the diverted side is on the right or left as you desire. Unfortunately, to keep a sleek look, this diverter does not have that. So my diverter got to the point of being screwed on tight with the diverted side pointed straight down when I wanted it pointed right. The only way to get this to work was to add a TON of teflon tape to the threads so that the diverter was screwed on tightly with 1/4 less turn.

Writing a review for a shower diverter seems weird, but the quality of this diverter is amazing. It just glides with such smoothness. Can't believe the low price. This product is so good. You'll be shocked. This can run 2 nozzles at once or choose either to run alone. If the quality feel is durable, it's a winner. I've used other diverters and this one is the best ever.

I ordered this diverter when my wife said she had difficulty using the shower diverter that came with our kit when I redid out shower. This diverter is easy to use turning to each setting . The install is easy and everything is supplied including valve, washers and enough Teflon tape. I also bought a wall mount holder for the wand. The quality is very good and solid. I would buy this diverter again.

I like the look and overall functionality. The lever is smooth and easy to use. The problem however is installation. It is very difficult to line up properly. Its very likely that the handle and hose outlet you will have to deal with using it however it goes in unless you buy an additional adaptor. The second issue is the washer that is supposed to be used in the female end of the unit. When you properly tighten the fixture the washer kinks and gets pulled into the opening the water is trying to flow through. Double washers dont help and neither does lubricating the washer in hopes it will seat. The only solution I have found is to remove the washer and use a excessive amount of Teflon tape. The washer also restricts water flow so when you remove it you will notice a pretty big difference in water pressure. All in all there are better options out there and I wouldn't waste my money on this one especially since I had to spend more on an additional piece so everything would lineup properly.
