Why does my Duvet have a sheepy scent?

The Classic Wool Duvet is entirely natural. It is constructed using natural materials, including British wool. All our wool is double-scoured. However, there can sometimes be a slight sheepy scent upon initial opening.

How do I get rid of that scent?

This will subside within a few hours of opening up your packaging and airing the product before use will speed up this process.

Can I wash this duvet?

Wool is self-cleaning and therefore does not require washing, however if you do want to freshen up your duvet - air it outside to encourage air circulation. DRY CLEAN ONLY.

Are wool Duvets better than down?

We love wool. We think it's nature's miracle material. Not only will one of our wool duvets cradle you in absolute luxury as you slip into bed, but it'll also keep you snuggly in winter and fresh and cool in summer.
