If you are looking for a book that will help you understand how to disassemble and reassemble the Range Rover Classic you need look no further. I will say that if you want a really in depth look at how to "service" the greasier bits you should get the actual Land Rover service manual. If you want to know how to actually "restore" a Rover such as replacing a tired interior, replace rusty panels, paint panels, or how to disassemble a Range Rover Classic properly (may sound self-explanatory, but this book is where I learned that things like the entire roof can be removed and replaced if need be as well as any of the other painted panels), this is the perfect book!

If you have a Range Rover Classic this book is one you should definitely have on your book shelf .

Just what I needed for my truck

More of an overview; not really as good as advertised. If you're actually restoring one of these beasts you need to spend the cash and buy the actual LR mechanical guide.I have both & this book was quickly relegated to the bookshelf. Even If you don't buy the mechanical guide- you'll get more mechanically useful info from the LV blogs and websites.I gave it two stars because the pics will help orient the complete neophyte.

I did not expect a copy of the shop manual. however, this book is more adapted to folks in the UK and does not do much for folks in the Americas. Total disappointment on items like FI, audio and reupholstering.

Having just rebuilt my own 1985 Range Rover I have to say that the project would have been a great deal more difficult without this book. Excellent guidance on stripping down and some great tips. Good history of the marque as well. If your contemplating any body or chassis repairs you need this book!Highly recomended.

Getting harder to come by a very handy Manual, arrived on time and as described could not fault.
