Our reflective DOT-C2 tape meets the standard and is retro reflective visible in excess of 1000 feet, the flexible polymeric film contains cube corners (effectively micro prisms), these allow it to be mounted in any position or angle and reflect the light back at an angle that is visible. The upper surface is completely smooth and is UV stable. During the day the colors are a vivid contrast of alternating red and white, these blocks are both completely reflective. This tape is suitable for the use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, buses, agricultural equipment, utility vehicles, or any automobile.

Fades quickly
Doesn't last more than 2 months before it fades badly.

Dont buy it. very poor quality
junk it will fade in the sun in 1/2 a year. Waste of money.

The red fades QUICKLY.
In less than 60 days on my cargo trailer, the red has faded and started delaminating. It's now from heavy usage, as I only use the trailer every two weeks for a few hours.

faded "safety" tape
Easy to apply, good adhesive. However, in less than three months the red sections are faded to blotchy pink and white. Makes the back of my truck look like crap. Now I have to deal with the adhesive somehow to replace this junk with another brand.Update: May 2, 2017. Just looking for some other reflective tape...noticed this one now says "indoor use" well, ok but too late for me.
