This is very easy to use. Did a great job at making my air smell better.

Works very well! Got the musty dog smell out from previous owners. Every time I turned the AC previously on there would be a faint wet dog/dander smell that came through. Would make my eyes and nose water. This product took care of that easily. Took 10 minutes to do everything. Drain plug was easy to find. Instructions were clear. And the difference was immediately noticeable. 10/10.

Worked well. Does leave a cleaner smell. I ended up leaving my windows open while the car was in the garage with a fan blowing through it. I also tried running by AC settings, such as heat and AC to try to clear the smell. After two weeks it slowly dissipating but still has that little smell when you first turn on the AC. Definitely got rid of the other musty smell.

I purchased this Genuine Toyota AC Refresher Kit to flush out a persistent musty smell from the A/C system on my wife's 2017 Toyota Camry. Cleaning the floor carpets with detergent previously didn't fix the odor, so tackling the climate control system was the logical next step. Many online tutorials show people jacking up the car to access the evaporator drain tube underneath, which can be a hassle. Instead, I accessed the drain hose from inside the cabin on the front passenger side; no jack required! You simply pull back a section of the passenger-side footwell carpet, disconnect the rubber drain hose, and insert the applicator tube. The kit includes a two-step process that is very straightforward: - Evaporator Foam Cleaner: Injected directly into the drain hose to expand over the evaporator coil and break down mold, mildew, and grime build-up. After letting it sit and reattaching the drain hose, it drains away the trapped moisture. - Ventilating System Conditionaire: Applied through the exterior cowl air intake (the vents located right under the windshield wipers) with the cabin air filter removed and the blower running. This circulates through the entire ductwork to neutralize odors in the vents. If you know where to look, this is easily a 30-minute DIY job. While my wife still notices a faint smell, meaning I may need to steam clean the headliner (ceiling fabric) next on a nearly 10-year-old car, the product itself performed exactly as intended and thoroughly cleaned out the HVAC system. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an OEM solution to clean their A/C evaporator coils and ducting!

It does the job, but little bit expensive.

This is the good stuff. I haven’t used it on a Toyota, rather several other cars, but it’s just the best to perform this identical service to your car’s AC system. Very, very strong stuff. Be extremely well ventilated when you perform this service. This stuff really works and refreshens your ventilation system.

The refresher kit has 100% removed the gunk in my AC drip pan, and my car doesn't smell awful!

My daughter‘s 2020 Toyota RAV4 had a musty smell in the morning upon startup coming from the air-conditioning system. Changing the cabin air filter did not rectify this problem but one application of this AC refresher kit did the job. Now upon startup we have clean smelling air coming from the AC vents. Very easy to use just follow the instructions. BTW it helps to have a little bowl to collect all the waste cleaner that will come out of the AC drain under the car.

It did get rid of the smells but left a lingering smell of its own. I had to use a deodorizing spray, since my truck is a 2006 tundra and I don’t know if it ever had this treatment before. Satisfied with the product.
