They are very nice well-made cute somewhat, small syrup dispensers. I didn’t have any problem with leaking like some other writers stated. I use sorghum and Honey in the two of mine. when I pour out some syrup and close the lid it cuts it off like a knife, giving you the exact amount you want, not like plastic squeeze bottles or Honey dispensers with the wooden stick. They’re not messy they’re clean, they don’t leak, they give you the amount you want. They look good even after a couple weeks. With five children using them they’re still not messy, but are easy to clean off with warm water if needed and the warm water will soften the sorghum on a cool morning to pour better. The size 6oz seems a little small but I actually like it better, it keeps the kids from using too much, taking up too much space and work well in this size.

Update to previous review: First, know that Customer Support is EXCELLENT. Second, I’m glad that I was wrong! (How often do you hear someone admit that!?) After my first refill, it was leaking like crazy. I expressed extreme disappointment in my previous review. I emailed Customer Support that I wanted to return it and get a refund. Customer Support replied promptly and asked me if I had installed the gasket in the lid. And yes, I did. But I had installed it improperly. The gasket needs to go in so that the flat side is facing up at you, (see photos) resting on the rim, when you’re looking down at the rim. Now it does not leak at all! Enjoy.

SO happy to find this! We needed an easy to pour dispenser for maple syrup, as the gallon jug we buy it in is just not feasible. We had one similar to this, but the top was plastic. It deteriorated and the silver flaked off until it was unusable. Enter this fabulous item! The top is metal - real metal! It's solid, it works like a charm, and it washes beautifully. The dispenser does have some weight to it due to that, but it' s not unwieldy nor too heavy. It's perfection!

MESSY. This style dispenser is always messy as it drips down the side. This particular dispenser was purchased by my husband for honey. He used about 3 months and quit. He got tired of cleaning it up each time he used it--AND the plate he had to put under it to protect the table. The Cast Zinc top is heavy and made well. It is not the traditional plastic with a chrome coating. It will hold up for many years. The glass bottom is also made well. So, I have nothing bad to say about this product as far a construction goes. This item is well made which is a compliment as most comparable items are junk. 40 years ago I used a dispenser made just like this one. It dripped just like this one does. Dripping is just one of the things you will have to put up with if you buy this. A small container or plate to fit under it is a must. It does allow you to pour honey or syrup over whatever you are eating with precision and control. BUT you have to diligent to WIPE IT OFF after each use or it drips.

Ordered this for us as on the weekends the wife always makes something like pancakes, waffles or french toast since we have the extra morning time. Pros: The item is made from a heavier weight glass and very sturdy. The top comes with a gasket to prevent leaking and helps to secure the lid tightly. It is easy to use, and we haven't experienced any of the dropping or leaking. It's easy to clean, and the larger opening makes this easy to refill. Cons: None for this item. Overall, we highly recommend.

Works well for honey, which I like in my morning coffee. I just refilled it for the first time, after letting all the honey drip/flow back down from the top, and there were no problems. I did rinse off the top and the plastic ring that goes inside it, just to keep things clean. If there is a tiny drip left on the outside when finished pouring, I just lick it off, as I am the only one who uses it. Otherwise, a quick dab with a damp cloth or paper towel would be fine. You really can't do any better with a liquid as viscous as honey.

I use this product to hold and dispense honey. I love how easy it is to use. All I have to do when I have dispensed enough honey for my tea or smoothies, is simply to let the top slide quickly and efficiently over the dispensing hole and, "voila" the honey immediately stops flowing with no spills, drips or mess. It is lightweight, and fits my hand perfectly.

Absolutely not worth the money. There just isn't a way to avoid syrup dripping down the front. Perhaps that's just the nature of these things? Regardless of how the rubber ring is placed—correctly or upside down—it leaks. Such a shame, because it's so pretty and I loved the fact that it was metal and glass.

Bad is that it takes long to be delivered. I use it for dispersing honey.

We’ve been using this for a few months now and no complaints!

We wanted a syrup container that we could use to provide a container of syrup on the table for pancake and waffle breakfasts. This is a fairly small container but for our family of three it is ample to hold more than enough syrup for a meal. We were able to microwave the syrup in the glass portion with the top removed. The mechanism at the top works well. Overall no complaints, I'm very pleased and would buy again.
