For all the benefits on the package, I mistakenly thought the alleged higher quality would translate into fresher flavor, but alas I noticed no detectable differences in overall taste, my satiety, affected mood or energy level compared to other rice varieties, organic or otherwise. It cooks at a lower water-to-rice ratio, so be aware before cooling or you'll find the cooking time increased considerably. If nothing else, it's about as tasty as the regular stuff, but I can't quite justify the difference in price tag.

I cooked this rice according to the directions. It did not cook, even after 45 minutes. It did not expand, it was not fluffy. It was hard and distasteful. Will not buy again.

Exactly as advertised. I'm Cajun and miss my refined rice.

I don't use a rice cooker and use a low to medium heat. I soak the rice 25 minutes before cooking, cook it for 25 minutes, and get a crunchy, tasty grain.

I like this brown rice. I soak it over night and cook it on the next day.Will buy more.
