Shipped to me on time, I like the pouch they come in because it makes them easier to find in the drawer full of my Lady's 'gear'. The finish is very nice and the blades are sharpened to a 'blood-edge' that is awesome! Perfect cuts, just the right size frame for my hands and smokin sharp. These scissors are a '10' in my book!UPDATE! I bought this pair in 2018 and they have been Outstanding! I can't post a picture of myself but suffice to say, my beard is on my chest! They are awesome for my moustache and beard! They are still 'blood-sharp' (nicked my nostril last week lol) and have been an excellent addition to my grooming kit!

This is a nice set especially for the price. I would have rated it 5 stars but I don't think the blades are quite sharp enough for my needs. My beard is thicker than average but it gets flyaway gray hairs. I don't mind that they're gray, everyone says it looks good with a few gray hairs in it. It's dark brown/black. I just don't like the flyaway effect. These are rogue hairs that point outwards of your beard in opposite direction of the grain. With these scissors, I get a lot of flyaway hairs that just fold over but don't cut. This is a very precision cut since I'm cutting one hair out of hundreds. I do still use these for trimming in the thick areas but bought a pair of barber, Japanese steel, to cut the flyaway hairs. To show how frustrating this is, the Japanese steel ones cut right through the flyaway hairs but struggle with the thicker parts of my beard. In that regard, these are just as important as the others since they excel at one part each. Nice comb and case too. For added show of frustration, the comb works great to help me make the precise flyaway cuts with the other scissors.

I would probably rate this at two stars if the price isn't so low. The scissors are ok, though they don't seem super sharp and had to be adjusted out of the packaging. The comb is a joke. Seriously, it really is as small as it seems in the picture. Maybe its adequate for Junior's first stache in high school, but a grown man should really do better. Totally not appropriate for a real beard, period.
