I love this Jane Stone Vintage Swallow Necklace I recently purchased from Enya Jewelry! These Fork-tailed Swallows were a popular design nearly 100 years ago (Roaring 20's, and also through the 1930's) during the Art Deco era. Art Deco was revived again in the 1960's. This necklace is a well designed and well constructed piece of costume jewelry that lays just right around my neck. It may be a bit overpowering for a petite lady (which I am not), yet for me it is perfect. One can wear it with an open necked top, or even under a collared blouse/shirt with the top buttons left undone to have it peeking through. It is a good focal piece while the statement necklaces are still so popular now. I think after that fad passes, this necklace will still be in style. Looking forward to wearing it this Spring, and especially this Summer with a tank top.

You sent me a very nice note asking my opinion of this necklace and I tried to follow the instructions to give you a review but I could not get it to work, although I tried several times. So,; I tracked it to here so I could leave a review.This is so unusual and I just love it. I have not seen one like it before and I love those kind of necklaces. You, or whoever designed it and whoever actually made did a great job. No, it is not going to be picked up by Winston Jewelers as 'pick of the week' but I didn't pay the price for that to happen anyway.It is well priced, looks great, have no idea how long it will retain its color but for the price, who cares. It is the originality of the necklace that I liked and will certainly tell other people who sold it to me. Sooo I kept seeing this necklace sold for $20-$30 bucks and higher. It's definitely worth WAY more than what Enya charges for it, as it looks amazing, and is very good quality. Well-made and sturdy, with this necklace I have no worry that a link between the birds may break, or any other issue, really. Love it!Additionally, it arrived a full month before the estimated delivery date, and when I had a shipping question, it was resolved promptly and completely to my satisfaction. I would recommend this shop again and again :)

This is a beautiful necklace and lays so nicely on the neck. I 'highly' recommend this necklace.

I was super excited to receive this necklace and tried it on right away when it arrived. I immediately felt something sharp stick into my neck and upon investigation found that a thin wire was poking out from one of the chain links. My guess is that 2 of the links had become detached from each other and someone had obviously tried to reconnect them using jewelry wire (as shown in the photo). Very disappointing, as the necklace is otherwise quite pretty. Unfortunately, I will be returning this item.

I got this necklace in antique bronze 4 years ago. Still have it and get compliments for it. I only paid $8 for it at the time, so I expected that it would turn eventually. Surprisingly, only the chain turned black, and the birds are the same color. I used to make jewelry ages ago so I just changed the chain out so I could continue to wear it. I suggest using a clear acrylic spray or nail polish to prevent or slow down turning.

This is a very unique necklace that looks exactly like the picture. I always get compliments whenever I wear it, and not the fake kind either because even my dad, who hates weird things, complimented it.The quality is pretty good. I only wear it occasionally since it stands out so much, but I've had it for a few years and it hasn't broken from being tossed around in my jewelry box.

the gold paint is rubbing off on the chain and the copper is showing. It had been irritating my neck and giving some discomfort.I’ve owned it abut a year now.I get A LOT of compliments on the style though. The chain could use an update.
