Works great
I backed my SUV ever so gently into a car that had pulled up behind me at a drive through window. I had checked my mirrors, and turned around, and didn't see him. He was upset and asked how I could miss seeing his little Honda. I pointed out the big spare tire mounted behind my SUV, and the fact that the SUV is much larger than his Honda. Anyway, we worked things out, and went our separate ways. I went home and immediately got on the internet to find the right backup camera. This was it. I mounted the camera directly to the bumper right above my receiver (my tag is mounted off to one side of the spare). I then wired it to a switch on my dash so I could use it any time I wanted to (even on the highway). I mounted the screen up high right above the mirror. The set up works great, the screen is out of the way, the camera is safe, and I won't be backing into anything I can't see again.
