Herb Speedy PPD Free Hair Dye, Ammonia, Paraben Free Hair Color Soft Black Odorless, No more Eye and/or Scalp Irritations From Coloring For Sensitive Scalp

Over the years, I’ve developed a severe allergy to chemical dyes, which has caused painful swelling and blistering of my scalp and skin. Because of this, finding a safe hair dye has been a real challenge. I’ve tried numerous so-called “natural” options — including Herbal Time, Indus Valley Henna Hair Dye, Phyto Care Herbal Hair Dye, and Vegtal Hair Dye — but none of them worked for me. In fact, they all left my hair an odd shade of purple! This product, however, has been a complete game-changer. It gave my hair a rich, natural-looking black colour with absolutely no itching, irritation, or burning sensation. I did leave each cream on for about 20 minutes (a little longer than recommended), but it worked perfectly — and, best of all, it didn’t stain my skin at all. I’m honestly so grateful to have finally found a hair dye that’s both effective and gentle. I’ll definitely be sticking with this one!

awful egg smell! I'm sensitive to hair dye and this was not sensitive! 20 minutes application but took too long to separate and use right amounts! hair more black than brown. HAIR FELL OUT! i am hoping it goes more brown after a few washes! Will not be buying this again feel sore and itchy now! think i’ll stick with the grey busters as that seems the best one for me! doesn’t last as long but definitely doesn’t smell or feel like this one! Very unhappy with this product and i don’t think their is natural products in it either! *AVOID AT ALL COSTS**

After having tried numerous hair dyes that claim there will be no reaction, I am very pleased to say that from my own experience of using this product, it actually is true. This is the first product I have ever used where I had absolutely no burning sensations whatsoever. Prior to my purchase, I read many of the reviews which say there were no English instructions, this was not the case from my experience. I have also uploaded pictures as proof. The instructions were easy to follow and the process is simple. Put the contents from the first bottle on your hair for 10 minutes, then you put the contents of the second bottle on your hair for 10 minutes too, however, I chose to leave the dye on my hair for 45 minutes after putting on the second bottle. The change of colour was quick and again, there were no burning sensations. I took many more pictures to upload, but unfortunately some of the pictures did not format correctly otherwise there would be pictures of the full contents that were received in the box. This is definitely the product for me from here on and I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for something that woks but also does not set your head on fire and resulting in having a scabby scalp for a week or two.

The only hair dye that hasn't caused a reaction. I've given it 4 stars simply for that. I don't think it's value for money at all, you don't get a lot and it left a lot of my greys tinged purple. That said, I'll defo try it again. Just very expensive and doesn't last.

No allergies but won’t work well I left more time but still not covered also looks like blue colour instead of black.

I bought this product to avoid redness and itching on my scalp as normal hair dye does this for me even the sensitive ammonia free ones. I normally use olia which is around £7 but I took the risk of buying a way more expensive product for my scalp only to leave me with red and itchy scalp and did not cover my greys at all. I'm deeply disappointed and very upset with this. I now have to buy another hair dye the normally works and will have worsening redness and itchy scalp. I don't normally write a bad review.. but this wasted so much of my time and damaged my scalp really bad and also my forehead. I didn't wanna give even one star for this but I have no choice.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to for this product, in case it helps other allergy sufferers like me. I have naturally black hair, which is sadly greying now. A few years ago I developed an allergy to conventional dyes. I spent about a year messing around with Henna and Indigo, but I found that it took all day, and the results were very mixed. For me, indigo didn't really stick well, and I hated the fact that I had to leave it on for around 4 hours. (It also gave me headaches.) This product is so much quicker. The only downside is that I find that it works best if you use Henna first, so I still end up with a two-step process, but it's a far quicker one, and it actually works. I tend to apply henna. Then I use a heat cap for 30 mins, which is sufficient to turn my roots orange. (Without the heat cap, it used to take a few hours for the henna to work.) Once my hair is dry, I can then apply this. You apply the first layer like a convention hair dye. After 10 mins, you can apply the second layer on top. Again, you have to leave it for 10 mins before washing off. I tend to find that by the time I've finished applying the first layer, it's more than 10 minutes since I started, so I go straight into applying the second layer. In total, including processing time, it takes 30-40 mins (depends how quick you are at applying). This is so much quicker than the 4+ hours that I used to spend applying indigo, only to find that it didn't even work!

I assume the bad reviews are down to people not following instructions. As long as you follow them to the letter, it works. Yes, it's not as long lasting as a normal dye but if you have any sort of allergy (I literally burn from most dyes), this is the best (and fastest) product I've tried. Tip - leave it for a little longer and it tends to last a bit longer (but unfortunately the hair gets way too dark as a result). Highly recommend this product and about to place my next order of it!
