Disney Frozen Crochet [Box Set] (Crochet Kits)

Instructions written clearly and appears to have every thing needed to complete.

Love these Thunder Bay kits, and especially this designer. I have worked 5 kits from this company with no issues, but this kit (and the "my little pony" kit) are short on the yarn needed - so frustrating!On Elsa, there was not enough teal to finish her skirt... I think it was short two rows.On Anna, there was not enough flesh color left after Elsa (I got her hands and 3/4 of her head done), not enough blue for skirt also, and the magenta for the cloak is also short. Very frustrating.The legs on these are so realistically shapely, there are super cool and also creepy. lolI have contacted the company and they say they will send me extra of the colors I need. (fingers crossed they pull through!)

The kits are amazing.But the hook they provide is poor quality. It’s better to go to a craft store and buy a better hook. But you buy these kits for the books, and maybe the starting yarn. I usually provide my own yarn.Sometimes the kits do not give you enough yarn, so be careful and watch how much you are using.I would say these kits are not good if you are brand new to crochet. You should have a basic level of understanding crochet before you try the kit.

This was a gift for my Disney employee, craft loving daughter. She was very happy to receive it!

The patterns are easy to follow for experienced crocheters. Great for anyone who loves Frozen.

Very confusing. Cute idea but would be challenging for most children and only comes with the material to make Anna and elsa

Difficult for a beginner or if you have arthritis because of the small stitches, although I was determined and so far I have finished Elsa and she looks good. Could have used a much better description for covering the head cap. I couldn't even find directions online anywhere. All in all It is nice that it came with so many different character patterns.

Made Anna and Elsa so far and they look great. Very fiddly though and not for the absolute beginner. Found a couple of typos in the pattern but nothing that i couldn't work out. Contains everything you need for the first two dolls including stuffing and hook so you can get started straight away.

Ich hab viele Häkelbücher, und kenne mich auch gut aus. Nur dieses ist leider sehr verwinkelt geschrieben. Und das Englisch macht es auch nicht gerade zu dem übersichtlichen Buch schlechthin. Bin ansonsten schon zufrieden. Sind die Anleitungen für die Puppen eben. Das "Garn" was beiliegt ist zum einen sehr knapp bemessen und zum anderen billigst. Also lieber selbst gutes Material bestellen! Aber es ist eine nette Geste dass man gleich los legen kann denn ich suche noch immer nach einem passenden Garn für die Hautfarbe. So einfach ist das dann garnicht (bei uns in der nähe gibt es keine Handarbeitsläden!)

Die Anleitungen gut nachzuvollziehen auch wenn sie auf englisch sind. Am Anfang des Heftes ist alles nochmal genau erklärt und dort kann man dann neben die Abkürzungen das deutsche Pendant schreiben. Schade ist nur, dass nicht gleich für alle 12 Figuren Wolle dabei ist. Also diese besser gleich mitbestellen wenn man hintereinander arbeiten möchte.

Prima Häkelset, wobei die Anleitung selbst eher das Geld wert ist, als die dazugelieferte Kunstfaserwolle, ich nutze daher dickeres Baumwolltopflappengarn. Mit der englischen Häkelschrift komme ich dank Internet-Übersetzung und YouTube ganz gut zurecht.
