Better models available from competition
go for rigol or siglent at this pricemaybe in 2012 when it was launched it was okay. lcd is nice but refresh rate is quite slow. there is some aliasing for faster signals. evidently this is because of larger 800x600 lcd (earlier owon used 480p lcd) although it has high memory depth 10mpt & 500MSa/sec (half for two channels). but it no fancy features like i2c decoder etc...this review is for other owon, but i think it also applies to this one: see dave Jones review..(Amazon blocks you t u b e links)if you get it under 22,000 go for it otherwise at this price, i think it is better to go for rigol 4-channel 50Mhz, 24MSam/sec (actually 100mhz after a hack supports all fancy stuff like i2c spi decoding etc, search google for this one. i think it is available for 44,000 on amazon.in)i am not saying it is very bad, it does the job but competition is far better...

Good and compact storage oscilloscope for the price
Amazing oscilloscope. You can connect via Lan or USB also. But high amongst other oscilloscopes but this is compact and can store data on USB drive. The probes are good and it has a fairly good user guide.Do not lose your CD, as their site does not have the suitable drivers or apps.Would have been nice to have installable batteries as this one requires technician to install it. Batteries are good for portable application and Line monitoring.

Good hobby/professional oscilloscope
Good oscilloscope.Big screen.Build quality is good.Menu layout is good.FFT function is very useful.Good memory.Good for portable/field operations as it can be operated with an internal battery(need to be purchased separately).

Good hobby grade osilloscope
I've had the device for about two weeks now and have mostly positives to say.1. Great screen. Big and clear. Waveforms are crisp. I was a bit worried about aliasing, but it is not noticeable enough to ruin the picture for me.2. I really like built-in customizable measurements displayed right on the screen, such as frequency, amplitude, voltage, etc.3. Some reviews on the Internet complained that the buttons are stiff enough for the device to slide back when you push them. I have no such problem. Maybe dependent on the surface of the workbench.4. FFT function is very helpful.5. Generally, ergonomics of the device is very good.6. Build quality is very good. Not like the old all-metal CRT oscilloscopes I am used to, but nice looking and tidy. Plastic seems to be of high quality. So, overall, I am happy with the device.Couple of minor grudges:1. Sometimes the auto-trigger function does not work correctly, i.e., the waveform scrolls across the screen. Usually fixes itself if you increase the sensitivity, but the wave may end up taking too much of the screen space. In olden times I had a fine-tune knob on horizontal regulator that would allow me to adjust the sync frequency and have a stable picture. Not sure if it is common on the modern oscilloscopes, but was definitely helpful. On this one such fine tune adjustment is not present. Would be nice to have, but between finagling with the sensitivity and external trigger I get a stable waveform.2. Font for the on-screen measurements is small. Not that it is a deal-breaker, but I would like to have it about 50% bigger. Especially if the oscilloscope is moderately far from me.In conclusion - excellent device for the money. I no longer work with electronics professionally and for hobby purposes, this oscilloscope is more than I will ever need.

Awesome scope
If you are looking for a cheaper scope, this is the one. It has every function you might need for electronics projects at home and the best feature is you can transfer data through ethernet or usb and look at your screen on a huge monitor with the VGA output. The scope also has a really big onboard screen for having a bench.

Owon 6062 Oscilloscope
This is a decent scope for the price. As a hobbyist type scope, it's worthwhile. I bought a battery for it, seems to work well (reason being I must be able to measure voltages without using a ground reference; those of you in electronics will know why).Having spent several decades in electronics engineering, I must state that if your needs are for a really good scope, pay the bucks for a Tektronics or Hewlett-Packard, this Owon will sort of do what you need, but it is not a high end lab scope. For a hobbyist (as I am now), it's worth the price.A cautionary note is in order for those of you who think this is a digital universe: it is not, and this scope is not an analog scope, so as with all digital scopes, there will be some things missed, such as high speed spikes, since that sort of thing is generally faster than the scope sample rate. I am aware that there will be people who wish to argue that point, but those who do will lose. If you are dealing with equipment/designs that are subject to those spikes, do as I do and use an old but decent analog scope for that sort of thing. Otherwise, the Owon should do the job.It does have some nice math features for those of you who think math is the universal solution to everything; if you're a realist and only accept what you see, the math functions won't be of great advantage, but in some situations are nice to have. My personal opinion (after a couple degrees and 33 years of engineering) is that those who rely entirely on math are doomed to have unforeseen difficulties, but that has nothing to do with this scope. So if you need something that does a decent job for your home lab or schoolroom or as an educational tool, it's worth it. If you're looking for high end lab equipment, look elsewhere.

Excellent Value for Money.
I don't think this can be beaten for the money. Very clear display (compare resolution to others). My only complaints are that it is a bit light and so moves around when you push buttons or plug in probes (easily fixed by putting something heavy behind it). And the user interface is not very intuitive or well thought out (but you quickly get used to it).
