I've just installed four of these units. This was installed in a two family home..... Two front door and two rear door bell systems. The simplicity of installation is remarkable! The design and functionality of these units is outstanding. Whoever designed these, took a lot of things in to consideration. If I only have known that such a system existed..... it would have saved me a lot of trips to Home Depot, where door bell systems are over priced, very outdated and often not very functional.Before placing my order, I've contacted the manufacturer with a question. At first, I wasn't sure if installing four different units might somehow interfere between each other. Very promptly, I received a response.... reassuring me that each unit is 'paired' together and it will not present any problems. They were right.... All four system work independently. The range is outstanding! The volume control is great.... I am amazed that you can get such a high dB level in a not so bulky unit. Now.... as far the button goes.... I really, really like the design.... If it saves me the hassle of buying and replacing batteries, it is a perfect button with a Kinetic electronic generator. So... No more batteries....ever!So, my search for a perfect wireless door bell system is finally over. If you want an outstanding door bell that really functions and perform s.....Then this will be the last wireless door bell that you will ever have to buy!

I was looking for a product that did not require batteries to operate. I had a previous bad experience with such a product that went through batteries quickly and failed to work at important moments. This product was perfect. The outdoor push button requires no batteries. The indoor receivers plug into the wall and use house current to operate. Power outages are rare in our area, plus even battery operated units require a house powered receiver somewhere in the system to work. Installation was a snap. Just attach the push button outside the front door, plug in the receivers and you are up and running. The first receiver in my setup is about 15 feet from the button going through one exterior wall. The second receiver is about 60 feet from the button on the second floor going through five interior walls. Both receivers ring simultaneously. I don't know why anyone would buy a battery dependent unit. Great product and well built.

Works Great. Sleek design, no need to worry about changing batteries.One problem, if you want to install the Bell with screws there is no explanation of how to remove the cover that you press. Trying to remove it without knowing how it is connected can cause you to break the hinges that hold it together. It being plastic there is no way to repair it.The diagram in the manual shows it open, but does not say how to open it. I sent an email to the address in the manual however I got no reply.Need to improve the manual, otherwise great product. - if you don't want to affix it to the wall with screws.

I probably buy 4 or 5 things from Amazon every month and I don't think I have ever written a review before, but before purchasing I was so doubtful of this product, and after a few weeks of use, so thrilled, that I felt I had to support it.Most importantly--It works.It works in a Cleveland winter when battery-operated buttons don't.It works over long distances and through many thick brick and plaster walls (probably Via the feature that relays the signal from one bell to the next).I works with multiple sets together. (I bought a 2nd set and synced them so now either button makes all 4 bells ring.)In my case, for the first set I put one button outside and one bell as close as possible, but that was about 15 feet and through 2 exterior walls (2 exterior walls due to an addition). Then I put the 2nd bell on the opposite side of the house, and it worked perfectly the first--and every--time.For the 2nd set, I put one bell in a workshop, that is a ways away and requires the single to go through 2 or 3 more exterior walls and it works every time.I was very skeptical before purchase, but I am really thrilled.

This is a great wireless doorbell transmitter/receiver setup. The outdoor transmitter unit is powered by some sort of piezo-electric device (similar technology to a gas grill ignitor) and requires no batteries. The signal is strong and reliable in our home, easily reaching a doorbell receiver approximately 50 ft away in the basement. The indoor receiving units are powered from the outlet, have a variety of chime options, are plenty loud and also flash LED lights when the doorbell rings.Our old wireless doorbell was generally unreliable and powered by an odd-sized battery that never seemed to last very long. This new doorbell is far superior and has been very reliable so far, however, there are a few things you should be aware of before purchase. The indoor unit looses all of its chime/volume settings every time it is unplugged or there is a power outage. Also, the indoor unit rings the default chime each time power is restored, which can be annoying if the power goes off and on several times in the middle of the night during a storm. The outdoor unit appears to have a small LED light that you would expect to illuminate when depressed, but there is either no light or it does not function. Additionally, the outdoor unit is larger than many other doorbells (about 3.25 x 3.25 in.) and is consequently too wide to mount on most standard door trim/moulding. I mounted ours to a piece of marble tile ( Silverado Gray 6X6 Marble Tumbled Mosaic Tile ) which is affixed to the house.We have had this doorbell installed for over a year without any issues. Although the outdoor unit appears to be weatherproof, ours is installed under a covered porch, so I cannot speak to its ability to withstand direct water exposure. Bottom line, I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a reliable wireless doorbell that requires no batteries.
