Fits my TG-7 perfectly and works very smoothly, very happy

Slots on the front of the camera after removing the ring that covers the accessory attachment mount. Opens and closed by rotating the outer ring. Protects the camera lens in the pocket etc. Seems OK but will have a better idea after a year or two.

seems a good idea for protecting the glass over the lens and much more reasonably priced than the original from the camera producer. Easily fitted.

This is an excellent accessory that can be left on the camera at nearly all times. The TG-x cameras are incredibly resistant to rough treatment but if like me you carry the camera in the pocket of an outdoor jacket the front lens protecting glass can get very fine scratches over time. I had been in the habit of carrying my TG-5 without any further lens protection and the once-sharp pictures have become soft because of many fine scratches on the lens protecting glass. I have replaced the TG-5 with a TG-7 and now keep this lens cap on the camera whenever I am not using the light guide accessory. I wish I had bought one of these much earlier.

Really useful to protect the lens from water splashes, but can sometimes be a little stiff to open. Needs to be removed from the camera and thoroughly washed after each time near sea water. Easy to remove from camera (there are 3 small screws on the camera lens mount that are prone to corrosion and must be carefully washed). I have 2 of these now - much cheaper than the official Olympus version

I wanted additional protection for my Brand New OM TG7 purchased Christmas eve leading up to the start of 2025. It operated fine at home, but as soon as I fitted it and took it out onto the river with me, it closed and failed to ever open again.....tried rinsing it in bottled water (the river was very clean anyway) and again under tap water when home, but never opened more than 30%. hopeless.

Der Objektivdeckel ist wirklich super. Einfach drehen --> offen, in die andere Richtung drehen --> zu. Funktioniert ohne Probleme und im Vergleich zum Silikondeckel, muss man nicht überlegen, wo man den Deckel während des Fotografierens hinlegen soll. Ich bin begeistert.

Se adapta a la perfección y cumple el objetivo de proteger la lente. Es cierto que es caro para lo que es, pero sigue siendo la mitad que el original y hace exactamente lo mismo. Lo he puesto en una TG6.
