Well done R-Gaza!
This is an amazing deal. Not only this cage looks better than some of the more pricier options out there its also well built. Great welds, great fitment, thick cross bar - I think thickest out of all the cages that I have seen, this thing looks and feels like a tank! The only complaint I had was that the instructions are bad and the bobbins that come with the cage do not match the black powder coat color, they are more gray and stand out a lot but you can sand them and paint it yourself, 30 min job - that's what I did and it looks great. I made a installation video for 2022 Yamaha MT-07 on YouTube, search for R-Gaza Crash Cage Install on 2022 Yamaha MT 07 if you are having trouble installing it yourself. Give yourself 1-3 hours to install it, the more research you do prior to installing it the faster it will be.

.
Quality of product is great. But the install instructions and the video absolutely suck. I had to figure it out myself. Also it hits the factory turn signals. Not a big deal il get after market ones.

Very good, Very Honest Review
After doing some research I decided on this cage over the impaktec because of the cross bar placement. The Good: It’s quality material. confirmed it to be DOM. Trust I’m good at thisQuality hardwareGood looking finish, no uneven or unfinished areas, painter for sure old and wiseHigher crossbar, less tendency to bend motor mounts, we don’t want thatIf you generally work on your own bike, it’s pretty straight forward and only takes a half hour if you prep and have all the tools ready. For those who found it too hard, you not smart sorry not sorryGood area of protection but also won’t jam your legs up like my ITX4 cage dude. Plenty of room and even better footrestAs a cage design it’s actually one of the better ones as a lot of the cages made for these bikes have been know to cause engine and trans mount damage. The Bad: The spacers for the front motor mounts are a bit thinner than they need to be. Just makes mounting at first a little tricky getting it to line up. I was also solo on this missionRight side cage sticker was upside down lolThe pucks do not have the logo on them just plain black so no hot boi stuffThe pucks can sit a little crooked when you screw them in, a rubber mallet will fix thatNOBODY has ever herd of your cage before and they will ask “why didn’t you buy an impaktec”Bonus: After install I went for a short 30 min ride and a group of 3 girls asked what all the bars on my bike were for, I hit a nasty stander in the Wendy’s parking lot and got the snap. So with that being said the cage gets girls.

did not fit a 2020 mt 07
too many parts to move to install the cage, and the directions on both the pictures and online... slideshow, had the fz 07 model. the sub cage from r gaza fits the 2020 model.

No instructions. Modification and fitment issues. 2016 fz07
One side i had to drill out the bolt hole for the frame bolt because they used the wrong fitting. Also the coolant reservoir relocate bracket is crap because it makes the coolant tank hit the case and I had to take off the cover just to get the cross bar on and it's smashing the tank even then. Instructions are absolutely useless watch the impaktech install to get a better idea of the fitment. Kinda disappointed for paying $360 for this and all this crap doesn't fit right.

Fitment is Perfect just Tight
The fitment is tight but everything does come together at the end. For the bolt at the back of the motor loosen on the left side. Don’t tighten everything down until you have everything placed where you want it the instructions are helpful but don’t go into detail at all. For the coolant reservoir bracket use the one main metal piece that mounts them use the smaller metal piece and connect them to the reservoir and then it fits very tightly but is not touching anything. A lot of putting it together is using your imagination and just getting it done.

Doesn't fit MT-07
This was clearly not made for the MT-07, couldn't figure it out and took it to a mechanic told me it does not fit our 2018 MT-07. Returned and got money back, quality looked great though.

Very Impressive Cage!
R-GAZA's FZ-07 / MT-07 crash cage is a very impressive unit. The package arrived with each piece painstakingly wrapped in such a way that all surfaces are protected. As you unwrap it you discover how solidly made and substantial it is. It's built like a tank – a Russian tank! – or at least the way I envision a Russian tank is built. It's very heavy duty and kind of old school – rough and rugged as opposed to high tech and refined. The cages I've seen that are manufactured in the USA (like the ones from Impaktech, New Breed, Full Metal Stunts, etc.) all have smooth, polished surfaces whereas the R-GAZA pipes have an industrial-like texture that adds to the aggressive vibe. The thing looks and feels like it could take an unlimited amount of abuse and still do it's job protecting your bike.Unlike the person who wrote the previous review, I had no trouble installing the cage. It fit perfectly. Also, I'm pretty familiar with the FZ-07 cage made by Impaktech. The two companies' designs are VERY similar. My guess is R-GAZA started out by copying Impaktech's design but then made some really great improvements. For instance, the bar that goes across the front on R-GAZA's cage sits higher than Impaktech's and is super-solid. Having the crossbar this high does require you to relocate the coolant reservoir tank (using brackets provided with R-GAZA's cage) but that's a pretty simple mod and worth the trade-off in my opinion. Also, your knees will likely hit Impaktech's rails when hard-braking whereas that is not an issue with R-GAZA's cage.Overall I'd say you can't go wrong with R-GAZA's cage.R-GAZA's cage costs about 30% less than Impaktech's but perhaps the biggest advantage to buying the R-GAZA cage is that if it's listed as in stock here on Amazon, you can get it within a few days, whereas you have to special order everything from Impaktech (and the other major US-based stunt cage / crash cage manufacturers), requiring a wait-time of 4-8 weeks or so for delivery. You'd probably have more resale value if you bought the Impaktech cage and decided to sell it in the future but you'll also have to invest more up front. (One note: you can save 10-20% off Impaktech's list prices if you are lucky enough to catch one of the 24-hour sales they have once in a while. Follow them on Instagram and keep your eyes peeled!)
