For those hard to get to places to clean, this little piece of equipment works great. Read the instructions, watch a u tube video and learn how to use it properly. You will be amazed at what you thought was clean but really was not. Works best on bolt action or AR style recessing lugs areas but can also be use as a multipurpose cleaning tool with other firearms. It’s not a “got to have it item” but if you want to get and keep your firearms as clean as possible then it’s a very handy tool to have.I highly recommend this product.

Best locking lug cleaner I have had, and I've chased down a few.The cylinders are not that great. I ended up putting some of the butterfly felts from another style of kit, sideways. They work great.The set screw is INSANE. WAY too tiny even for the shop, so good luck using this as a field cleaning kit. I may try to come up with some way to use an O-ring to retain the cleaner instead. Got to be a better way.My favorite: The set screw was installed backwards. As in, the wrench side was not accessible. That took a while to get out. Not even sure how they did that.Comes with a plastic tube that can be used as a carry case. Enough spare room I have some TW25, rags and more in there. DO wish they had sized the bag of cotton tubes to fit, and included a spare chamber mop or two, and a place to put them.

I needed this to clean the bolt recesses of my rifle. This tool seems to do the job very well, at a lower price thanothers advertised. It is a well built tool that should last a lifetime. So I am very satisfied with my purchase, andwould recommend it to others.

Not sure how i lived without this handy tool for years. Makes cleaning your lug recesses so much easier. So far Ive used it on my 700 Remmy and also my 03A3 rifle, both without any issues. After you get everything nice and clean don't forget to get some good lug grease on your bolt. The brass cleaning rod is very well build and sturdy, same for the aluminum swab holder. Overall A+

Let me be clear from the start, Dewey makes fantastic products and we use many of them in our Gunstore. I have no problem with Dewey and I highly recommend them. I have no doubt that this recess cleaning kit will work fantastically for the next 20 years for me. This review is to make people aware of the fact that I received two separate kits and both were missing the same part.Ordered 1 and it arrives. I am all set to clean the lug recess on my new match rifle, open container, empty contents to assemble rod and attach cleaning swab. Turns out there is no head to attach on the rod.Report to Amazon they send replacement, low and behold it is also missing the same piece.If a representative for CE Showroom reads this...check your inventory of these cleaning kits and check for missing parts. If you are taking them out in attempt to make people pay more for the replacement part...shame on you. Because they do offer the exact attachment that is missing for 9.99. Buyer beware you may purchase one of these and it may be missing what you can consider to be the most important part. I also spoke with Dewey and this seems to be a trend with these kits from this seller.My 2 cents do with it what you will.
