Jabberwocky

I bought this for my monster-obsessed 2 1/2 year old, after seeing how much he enjoyed dipping into our large Santore treasury. He adores both the poem and illustrations, particularly the large fold out picture of the Jabberwock. The art is so glorious that it is a positive pleasure to read and re-read the book to him.

A nice book with excellent illustrations. The poem is spread on each page to match up with the relevant illustrations. It would have benefited for a complete version of the poem either in the front or back of the book. That way it would have been easier for a young child to learn the poem.

Book arrived damaged and illustrations are a bit over the top and definitely geared towards adults
