Works perfectly with my 9-year-old 55" 4K Seiki TV
The OEM remote on my (circa 2014?) 55" Seiki 4K TV failed in an interesting fashion - suddenly, just about every button acted to turn the TV off.This replacement is perfectly functional. It's a no-name Chinese brand so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular but hey, it works well and is inexpensive. As to longevity, well, we'll see, but it seems pretty well-made.Cosmetically its design differs slightly from the OEM remote but who cares! A brief test of crucial buttons - power on/off, volume, input selection - checks out OK. I use my TV with a Roku box running Jellyfin so really don't need much more than that. Happy to give five stars.

Waste of time
This universal remote is nothing more than a paper weight. It never worked. I went through 2 sets of batteries, but it shows no signs of life. It came with nothing. No instructions, not even a box. So even if the batteries had worked, there were no instructions to get it to pair with my brand of TV. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Misplaced the original while moving, this worked better than the original and was of a value for the money.
