Really nice-update after months..
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Update: Had this camera several months now and I really just love it. Its like being at home when you're not. Being able to see your property 24/7 is just outstanding. As long as you have your phone, you can always check on home. Day or night. 100% happy with it.Original: Really surprised at how nice this little security camera ended up being. I was kind of skeptical at first but now I’m very happy I tried it. This thing really reaches out there (tried to show this in the cloudy rainy-day video) way farther than I ever expected. I was figuring a limited view, distance wise, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. This camera is clear as a bell, really shows up well during the day and is most impressive at night, really like the nighttime vision, even caught a moth flying around out in front of the camera one night. Setup was easy, and it just works, not much else to say. Planning to buy another to use in the back soon!

Fantastic, cost effective Pan & Tilt Outdoor monitor.
OK. I'm a happy camper. Since I've been In lockdown, I've been upgrading and expanding the security cameras in my home, and home office/studio. I have 2 outdoor cams, with video and audio. However, they have static positions (even though the field of vision covers decent width).I have an indoor monitor pointing out the window, and I can control pan/tilt, to change the scope of view. I actually have this for the front and back windows. And, they are set up so I can swivel the unit to capture aspects of the interior. Often, I have the cam pointing inside, to avoid any damage from inadvertent direct sunlight. If I need to scan an area, I simply pan the camera and look wherever, limited by the angle and window structure. This is fine, but there's no audio and has some inherent limitations.I was demonstrating my security system to my sister, and she laughed and said why don't I have an outdoor camera that can move around. She was right! So, I researched. This monitor fits the bill exactly. You have the option to run the single cable through a wall opening. Or, there is a notch at the bottom of the connection plate that will allow the cable to run down a wall that the base is affixed to. That single cable is the USB cable that plugs into the provided USB power plug.Installation is a breeze. You download the requisite app,Digit Cam (which you'll already have if you already have other units from this company. Good idea to use cameras that operate within one app, to simplify your life and allow easier monitoring of your cameras.). Follow the directions to register your account.Installation of the camera itself is simply attaching the base to the outdoor wall. If you already have an outdoor camera, with either a wall opening or access to outdoor power outlet, then it's simply a matter to running the cable in an appropriate manner to get power. Attach the antenna. Power up. Follow the directions to add the camera to your app.I performed the activation/add camera to the app before I affixed the camera the the spot above my front door. My front door is located in the center of the width of the house. Situated in this position, I'm able to see anyone at the front door, or approaching the front. I can also pan/tilt the camera to focus the attention wherever I choose.HD quality is perfect. Audio seems to be better than the previous stationary camera unit. That could be 'new-ness' bias. hehe. I inserted a 64gb SD card, to record, choosing not to use cloud services. The only problem I have? Now, I want to switch out the stationary camera that I have in the backyard. Just a matter of time. haha. Looks like I'll be installing my older stationary outdoor monitors at my sister's home.

A Serious Security Camera at a Great Price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I just received my Victure PC660 Wireless Security Camera yesterday, and after spending a few hours mounting it to the front of my house, I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality, as well as what this little camera can do. For less than $60, it’s an investment I’m glad I made in my home’s security.I’ve been dabbling with low-cost security cameras for a while after purchasing my first “pet monitor” camera over a year ago. It’s an indoor pan-and-tilt camera that lets me keep an eye on what’s going on inside my home when I’m away, and it cost around $40. It opened my eyes to the value of being able to monitor what’s going on at home when I’m not there. It was a great purchase, but I still thought of it as little more than a toy. It wasn’t all that reliable (it also wasn’t made by Victure) but the benefits and low cost made it worthwhile. Well, for only $20 more, this PC660 by Victure is a far better and far more useful device.First, this is an outdoor pan-and-tilt camera, so it’s weatherproofed to be used outside. It comes with a long USB power cable that I was able to feed through a hole I drilled in the wall, and it has an adjustable Wifi antenna that sends the audio and video from the camera back to my Wifi router.Second, it’s been paired with the “Digit Cam” app – which works great together with this camera. It’s responsive, so the image pops-up quickly as soon as I launch the app, and the camera controls are easy to use. One of the biggest advances over the other “toy” security cameras I’ve used in the past is how quickly it pulls-up recorded video stored on the internal SD card (the card itself is not included, but I definitely recommend adding one).Third, and perhaps my favorite feature, is the automatic motion tracking. It’s not perfect, and requires a fairly distinct object to be moving across the screen; but in less than 24 hours, it’s captured dozens of people and cars, (and even a small cat) moving in front of my house, and tracked them all the way from one side of my property to the other. I have a fixed outdoor camera now in front of my home that only covers a fraction of what the PC660 covers, and I was planning to buy two more to cover the entire front of my house – which would have cost me more than this single pan-and-tilt camera. So economically, this camera is a good investment. There are a couple of caveats worth mentioning:1) Depending on your situation, it may help to have some basic tools and hardware (like extra screws, drill bits, and a drill) around to help with the camera installation. The wall-mounting screws that came with the PC660 were just too short to be useful for my situation, and I suspect they will be too short for many. There is a small screwdriver that comes with the camera, but that is for unscrewing the small lid on the camera itself to access the SD card slot and reset button.2) A strong Wifi signal is essential. The camera worked flawlessly when I set it up in my living room, where my Wifi router is located, but after installation on an outside wall of my home, the camera became virtually unresponsive. It took forever to load, and it kept timing-out. I was able to resolve the problem by moving my Wifi router from its home on a shelf inside a bookcase, to the top of the same bookcase, and the camera resumed working flawlessly again – just like it did during setup. The camera does have an option of running an Ethernet cable from the camera to your router, but otherwise be prepared to do some work to get a strong Wifi signal depending on the placement of the camera and your router. So in summary, I give the Victure PC660 camera five stars. It does everything I want in an outdoor security camera at a very reasonable price, and it’s paired with an excellent, easy-to-use app. Just be mindful of my two caveats above, and I don’t think you will be disappointed.
