How to Make 100 Paper Flowers: Ideas and Instruction for Folding, Cutting, and Simple Sculptures Paperback – June 1, 2013

Received the book yesterday...it is awesome! I recently have had the pleasure of working with Maria Noble when I ordered some paper flowers from her. She has been amazing to work with and the flowers she made were beautiful. I originally got the book to see what other types of flowers I might want to order, but I think I may try my hand of some myself. The book is very well written and explains everything you need to know. There are step by step instructions as well as photos for each step. There is even a section designed for children to make some pretty awesome flowers. I look forward to doing some of these with my granddaughters. I am really enjoying this book and would recommend it!

I was excited to receive this book but was extremely happy when I received it. I love making flowers but this book is going to take my flower making to a new level. The color photos are AMAZING with easy to follow directions. The patterns are super easy to copy and resize if you want to. There are so many different flowers from a variety of materials, including materials I never would have thought to use. The different roses are incredible but there many different flowers. I am so happy that I purchased this book. If you love to make flowers, you should buy this book.

Good designer of some absolutely stunning flowers. But not the clearest instructions. If you are a beginner, start elsewhere. But if you have a little experience, you will be able to figure it out. For example, I do a lot of quilling, so the quilling section, I already knew the techniques, and so I got some original and great ideas. On the other hand, I am an Origami moron, and the instructions there read like Japanese.Oh, well, the quilling section is recommended, and the crepe paper flowers are wonderful. Just not for absolute beginners.

Not sure I will use it a lot but will probably get some ideas from it. I usually try to buy used craft books so I don't invest a fortune in how to materials.Update on 3-13-14: I have had a chance to really look over this book since my first review. It is a beautiful book with wonderful pictures and very good instructions. I will look forward to getting into making some of these flowers as soon as possible. I am glad I purchased this book and feel it is certainly worth the price I paid.

The instructions were not the best. I did not care for most of the flowers or projects that were featured but there were some tips that I could use by modifying the flowers.

Great book. Very clear and easy to understand. I made samples of the flowers that were chosen by the group so they could see what it looked like in person and they could be examine how to glue it together.

The pictures and templates are awesome, and LOVE that it is spiral bound (but NOT) flimsy so it lays flat when copying the templates. Wish it had a little more detailed instructions regarding technique as I am a newbie to this, but nonetheless, my first rose was beautiful! Also including the resources for the crepe paper was invaluable, as doublet crepe paper is not as easy to find.

It was a very easy to follow book. It showed every step and has many different flowers. Mine did not look like a lot of the pictures but those were experienced people doing them. My flowers turned out great and I enjoyed doing them!

I love this book. It's got enough to keep us occupied for weeks and months. The instructions are clear and the illustrations excellent.I like the fact that there is no attempt to make these flowers look real. They are obviously paper flowers and all the better for it. I hate artificial flowers, but love these paper ones.

Je suis témoin pour le mariage d'une amie très chère à mon cœur et je passe un temps fou à chercher et à faire des fleurs pour sa déco et ce livre est tout simplement formidable ! Tout y ai expliqué clairement, étape par étape, et malgré quelques mots parfois dur à décoder, notamment pour le matériel a employé ( car je ne parle pas spécialement bien anglais )tout est niquel ! Il y en a pour tous les goûts ! Papier de soie, papier crépon, papier tout court ( origami, quilling ... )des idées originales de recyclage de papier journal, de vieilles cartes routières etc ... ! Je recommande fortement ce livre à toutes celles et ceux qui aime faire des activités manuelles .

This book has to be the best for beginners. I've made so many of the flowers. I even made up pretty impressive bouquets for mothers day within just a few weeks of learning how to make paper flowers. A must for beginners and the more experienced.
