Fits the Fuji X-T4 Almost Perfectly
I purchased this thumb grip for the new Fuji X-T4. If you have never used a thumb grip before and it doesn't quite make sense looking at the photos why you might want one, it turns out that when you mount a grip shaped like this into the hot shoe mount at the top of your camera, you can then rest your right thumb on the end of the grip. It's almost like magic, but all of a sudden, your camera has a completely different feel to it and you can hold it more securely because you have your fingers around the front and your thumb on the back. You are literally "gripping" the camera now. This particular model is one of the very few available for the X-T4 at this time (mid-2020), and I knew I would want to use one, so instead of waiting for my favorite brand to come out with theirs, I ordered this one. It is made of a solid piece of painted aluminum, very solid, and fitted very well into the hot shoe of the X-T1. So, the fit is very secure, and I don't foresee any issues with the piece falling out (but always, always use a wrist strap regardless of these other mechanisms). It does not obstruct the dials and wheels or controls of the camera and really adds stability to the overall camera grip.Just a few minor issues keep it from being a true five-star item. First, the end of the grip (where the thumb rests) is a bit on the sharp side; not sharp like a ridge, but not chamfered enough to make it as comfortable as it could be. Every once in a while I get the discomfort of my thumb going over the end of the grip, and that could have been avoided by smoothing this out more on the end. Next, there is no embedded rubber or soft material where the thumb naturally rests. This means your thumb will be on hard metal the entire time. That's OK, but it would be more comfortable to have that inset rubber piece there. Finally, although no knows or wheels are technically obstructed, I feel that, for the X-T4, there is going to be a bit of difficulty accessing one of the rear wheels that is placed right below where the thumb grip drops. I can get to the wheel, but it takes a little bit of effort. These are minor quibbles. The device works just fine on my X-T4 and I'm glad to have it on there. One of the most important things, the fact that it fits so well into the flash hot shoe is a really important factor. (I've had thumb grips before where the drip would just fall out of the hot shoe mount all on their own, risking a camera drop.) I can easily recommend this item to X-T4 users until a better model comes out!Update: Lensmate has now produced their model for the X-T4. You can find it by searching for ASIN B08D6J4XV8 . It will cost a little more than twice the price as this one, but it is definitely a superior build and comfort level.

Affordable and useable
Fits on the X-T4 well and the tension on the hot shoe keeps it in place, but you'll loose easy access to AF ON and the rear rotary dial. You can still get to them, but your thumb will rub on the grip. I wish it had rubber where you rest your thumb and there was less give when you hold tight, but for the price it works well.Works better on the X-T3, as far as only blocking the photometry wheel, but the tension is different, so it'll slide around more.Don't use on the X-T2 even though it says it's compatible. It'll come in contact with the camera body and eventually scrape the paint off.

An excellent price and a decent thumb rest
I'm using it on my new X-T4 with my vertical battery grip and my 16-55 XF lens. This makes the camera quite heavy. As a result the thumb grip tens to give a bit. Nothing that would endanger the camera but it is something that could have been a bit thicker to eliminate the slight movement. For me the thumb grip was a bit slippery. Perhaps from all the hand washing since we're dealing with the pandemic. I cut a small strip of black gaffers tape and put it on and that helped a LOT.All in all its a really good price and its doing the trick.

It really good if you have the money, DO IT!
To be honest, not much to complain... THIS IS AWESOME, is very handy for long periods of time use and on hikes. I found myself having sore fingers but after this, everything is better and ot gives a good look. I do recommend to maybe add a pad for softness but without it it works better than great. The fit was very tight and secure for my Fujifilm X-T3 and haven’t confronted any issues with looseness. Only downside is the price. The contrast between red and black makes it a very attractive and Professional camera.

if you have a Fujifilm camera and big hands this helps
If you have big hands and get the smaller than most cameras, the Fujifilm camera, this will help you hold the camera more comfortably.

Fell of my camera
It seemed like a nice item. But, it fell of my xt3 the first time I used it and I haven’t seen it since.

Perfect fit
Fits perfectly

Feels cheap
Feels cheap and thin. The “arm” that extends from the hot shoe to the thumb rest is skinny and floats, putting all the leverage pressure on the hot shoe.

Thin and too much flex
This thumb rest is absolutely pathetic. It flexes under the lightest of pressure. If you try to use this with a somewhat heavy lens like the 16-55, the thumb rest will bend so much that it will hit your camera body.My gf has a different model on her xt3 and there is no flex at all.Pathetic.
