Game changer
I chose this based on researching a lot of different products/reviews, learning what has/hasn’t worked for others, and this seemed good in every way. I’ve only had this set up for a minute but it’s going to be so helpful for me. I had knee surgery and unable to use my traditional desk, and working from home has been uncomfortable without some type of couch/bed desk. This will allow me to adjust the setup based on my braced leg position, use a mouse and keep headphones handy as well! I have the large MacBook Pro and there is lots of room still for a mouse. I like that I can use this on my normal desk in future. I can also bend my other leg out the side as well. The legs seem very stable and it slides on a bed really well (even with top tilted and an open laptop). This is critical for me since my mobility is limited; I can push the desk far away to my feet and swing my straight leg through, or pull it back up to me with no concerns or juggling what’s on top. I would probably first remove a beverage that was fully/tippy before moving this desk around, but that’s just out of caution. I haven’t actually attempted it so maybe it would be fine for the risk-takers. I love the tilt feature, I feel like this will help me reach the keyboard comfortably but also will help my neck stay straight. The removable stopper isn’t too tall or wide, so I can still type comfortably; I was concerned about this with some other brands. The stopper track is wide so you could place your laptop anywhere you need it for right/left mouse placement, etc. It is a little heavier than I hoped because of my crutches and limited mobility, but it’s very well built and the weight wouldn’t otherwise phase me much. Seems like with these lap desks you can either get well-built or light-weight, but not both, so pick what’s important to you. It does not seem like something you would be able to pack and travel with (if that’s what you’re looking for - FYI). It could use a “handle” on the back, but that’s my only upgrade request, particularly with my accessibility needs and being petite, the overall large size and weight will make this a bit clunky to move around without a formal handle. Overall durable, versatile, and functional! So glad I have it now!

This was worth the research...and the money, too
The Cooper Desk Pro XL is better than I expected. As illustrated in their advertisement, it tilts mutiple degrees as well as has adjustable heights. The faux leather desktop helps keep papers from slipping off the desktop. As shown in the photo, it is not smooth so double up on loose leaf. It is nice to write on as the leather-like surface offers some “give” versus typical hardened plastic or wood. The pencil holder includes a rubber strip that also grips the writing devices so they stay out better when the top is tilted. I tried to capture that in the final photo. I took extra pics of the pull-out book reader as it is an under explained wonderful accessory. It is stored underneath the desktop. The legs fold out as pictured. The ledge on which the book sits also adjusts. That little feature is so handy to hold books large and small. As the desktop is not slippery, the books do not slide off the top. I like this accessory so much. The drawer is just big enough to hold a remote and pens or eyeglasses, etc. No more hunting around for colored pencils or the remote. Even the large iPhone fits in the drawer. Lastly, the ski legs are good to slip under to get in and out of bed. If you want them to not slide then simply attach felt squares. Voila, the legs will no longer slide. For the money, this desktop is a dream. I use mine most nights to journal, read the Bible, and color using colored pencils and/or gel pens. The desktop has performed exactly as advertised. Perhaps even better (given the book holder). I plan to buy one for my sister.

Fantastic Desk, Had Issues with Seller, but all solved
Purchasing this desk was a trying experience. Amazon sent me a used desk even though I had paid for a new one. Even when taking the plunge to ship the desk myself, I was lied to about the quality of the desk. Contacting the company of the desk led to sour results and I was left with a bad impression about Amazon and the desk company. Fortunately the Company of Cooper Desk PRO XL reached out to me, read about my experience and were very understanding. Apologizing for miscommunication, they are investigating and hope to improve Amazon supply and shipping services of their products. They sent me missing parts and a replacement desk at no cost. Th company went above and beyond with their services and generosity in order to see that I was satisfied with their product. This is a company that clearly cares about their products and customers. Review on desk: The Cooper Desk Pro XL It Is light enough while being sturdy while boasting a generous amount of space to accommodate most work situations. It is easy to adjust to the height and angle you desire. Things do slip off desk at it's highest angle including a book inserted into book stand. Understandable because of gravity. The included fold out stand is quite handy too as it can be placed on the desk or folded out to be placed on another surface which has been really great for my art studies. The side pull out draw has been quite convenient as well for holding miscellaneous items. I often tend to place loose items like flash drives, earphones and microfiber clothes in it, so it is very handy to have. The insert-able stopper really completes the functionality of the desk to adjust angles. Without it most objects will be sliding off the desk. I found that the insert-able stopper combined with a Cooler Master wrist rest keeps my iPad and keyboards from slipping off the desk and provides the comfort I desire when working for long periods of time. I much as I would have liked to use the included stand it is not sturdy and stable enough for my drawing needs. I have my iPad resting on a small metal mesh stand to help angle it further. Power banks and accessories are behind the iPad that act somewhat to distribute the weight over the desk. The desk definitely makes for a very pleasant experience to work with on a couch or bed or even upon the floor. Where I was chained to working solely from my main workstation desk I now have the freedom to move around to more comfortable locations. Critique on desk: I am unsure if this is the intended design, but I a had a few critiques. There is no grip on the bottom of the desk feet which causes desk to slide around even on grippy surfaces. This may be the design to make it easier to slide around when you would rather not pick it up. One might have to stick rubber or grippy like material under the feet if they desire not to have the desk slide around. The inside pull out drawer is glossy plastic. Possibly a foam or rubber inlay of the desk drawer could be added to protect from scratches and objects sliding around. Due to the desk feet needing much surface area in order to be make the desk stable it does make short chairs and couches unavailable for use. Also when the desk is folded and placed flat, it rocks back and forth which is a pity as it limits it's functionality for the user to lay it on a surface and still be able to work on the desk. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the desk and company. I completely recommend this desk for an adjustable and portable workstation solution.

Perfect lap desk for working on the couch or in bed.
Works perfect for what I wanted it for. Would have liked it better if it could have gone one more level lower, as I feel like even on its lowest setting it still sits a bit high. Also could have used a little deeper drawer so I could store my mouse in when not using. I love the non slip surface, and the ability to tilt. The size is pretty big, I can easily use my laptop, 13 in, Mouse and mousepad, as well as have my phone on a stand on it for conference calling. It comes assembled and ready to go for the most part. It's comfortable to use, and I do not notice my laptop getting hot while on it. Definitely worth the money.

The right tool for the job.
I purchased this to use at night, sitting in bed, which is when I have enough peace and quiet to get some writing done. I've used laps desks and pillow desks, but I got this because it seemed much better suited to my needs. And it is! Setting it up is easy. Adjusting the height and tilt is easy. Pulling the drawer out isn't that easy, but if it was, it wouldn't be a good place to store anything! This desk gives me a nice, big work space. My laptop doesn't slide around on it. When I have the desk tilted, I use the "stopper" to make sure the laptop stays on the surface. And the stopper sticks up high enough to encourage the laptop to stay put, but not enough to interfere with my touch typing or use of the built-in track pad. The ski shaped legs are forgiving about rumpled bedding. I can put one side up higher than the other to compensate for major rumpling. I can sit with my legs under it, or one leg under, or even cross-legged. The best thing is that I can set it up to the tilt and height I like, plonk my 15-inch laptop in the middle of it, and get to work. No wobbling, no distractions. A great tool for what I use it for. I also tried it out sitting in a chair in the living room and on the couch. It works in both those places. I like the tilt feature, too, because if, say, I want to sketch on my iPad Pro, I could position it at just the right angle. The price was more than I wanted to pay, but the quality and functionality make it worth it.

Excellent student or home office workspace
I bought this, because I wanted something I could use for studying, working from home, and writing from on my couch. I wanted something sturdy, comfortable, and big enough for my 17” laptop, mouse and possibly my paper tablet. This desk has everything I wanted and more. I really like the color. It kind of looks like faux leather, which is nice. It doesn’t feel cheap or anything. My items don’t slide all over. It tilts easily, and it has an insert to prevent my laptop from falling off while tilted. It folds up easily, and I can store it under the couch with no issue. It also has a drawer on the side which can hold my mouse, the insert stopper, and a folding book light. Overall, I think this thing was cheap compared to what I paid for it. I didn’t have to do anything to assemble it, just pull it out of the box. I really like it.

Quality Game Changer for working at home
It's not often nowadays that quality is better than expected, but this little desk did it for me. The only part that feels like plastic is the book holder and the bar in the front. The rest feels like solid. The leather top is soft to the touch and there is a rubber edge all along the front. There is a solid stopper, but the leather stops devices from moving around, even at a 45 degree angle. There is also soft rubber covering the lever that tilts the top. Nicely designed and built. I bought this knowing it was too wide to use in my recliner, but I was thrilled to find that even though the legs were a bit too wide, the legs can fold in a little so I can wedge them between my legs and the chair arms and not sacrifice stability. Super happy about that. The tilt is a game changer. So much more comfy for typing, and my webcam is higher up for meetings, which was something I wanted, but didn't expect. Since the desk is on what I think looks like skis, I thought I'd give it a test on my bed. So I pushed it pretty hard and it slid back without tilting over. That was a total shock! Then I jerked it forward and again it slid, without tilting. A drink wouldn't have survived my mini earthquake simulation, but as long as the table wouldn't dump my laptop to the floor, I'm good. And it didn't. Looking forward to using this as a standing desk for work as well. And they don't show you this in the advertisement, but the book holder can free stand and could be used as a countertop music stand, or cookbook holder. Just ideas I had for it's use. Super happy with my new desk!

Lightweight with Plenty of Workspace!
This portable desktop is the best I have purchased by far! I have wasted money on a few others, over the years. This one was the most expensive one I've purchased, but well worth every penny! It's large tabletop allows me to use a 16" macbook with a small wacom tablet together! The surface is grippy enough that my laptop doesn't slip around, I also use the included stopper that fits in a small track, just in case. The small track also holds my wacom stylus, when I'm not using it. The book rack is every convenient and is stored under the table top, so it's not an extra piece floating around. It's right there when you need it. It also does not take up legroom space, under the tabletop. 0The side drawer is large enough to store a small mouse and a few small items. The drawer is tight and doesn't open or slide out on it's own. When folded down it's slim and easy to slide into a smaller place. I keep mine on edge under my regular computer desk. It fits perfect and doesn't get in the way at all. The desk slides easily, when I need to get in and out of the bed, when I'm using it in bed. It's also nice on a table to raise the computer to a height to work at, while standing. Overall, this new portable desktop is lightweight, has plenty of work surface, many thoughtful extra things included, that don't take up extra space and it's slim when folder to store almost anywhere, when not in use.

Life changing for my chronic illness wfh setup and my dog can sit underneath
Though a little heavy to lift, this laptop tray has been amazing for supporting me working from home when I am bed bound due to chronic illness. The tray is well made and doesn’t have any sharp edges. It’s very sturdy and adjustable. It folds easily and the arms just tuck in, so then I just lean it up against my bedside so I can grab it in the morning. I haven’t used the additional back panel much personally as I have a tv behind but it’s perfect for my iPad or a notebook. I love how when not in use it just slots in the bottom and isn’t at all invasive. The drawer is also uninvasive. This has been a problem for me, because where the drawer isn’t in my way and fits my phone perfectly, I have forgotten that I put my phone in it and then wondered why my tray desk is vibrating for hours. The drawer is perfect for limiting screen time for this reason, and should also fits pens or glasses. Aside from working, I have also used this desk tray when I have to eat in bed. It supports a large cup too but it’s a shame there is no designated cup holder or grip for a cup, so I would advise using a cup with a lid just in case. Best part is when I’m working on this, if i raise the legs just a little bit so it’s a comfortable height, my dog fits underneath. So I can work with my dog on my lap, under the tray, with my laptop on top.

Jättebra!
Stadigt och enkelt att använda. Använder det dels som ett sätt att kunna arbeta stående vid skrivbordet men även för att kunna arbeta t.ex från soffan/sängen. Funkar kanon!
