I previously wrote a review when I purchased this item in 2020 as they are lawn & garden necessities. However now (in their second season of utilization) the grommets which protect the collars of the wooden handles are affixed improperly which causes the handle to split when downward pressure is applied to the tool. I WOULD NOT repurchase this (these) item (items) due to the OBVIOUS defect in manufacture. And to increase my negativity concerning this/these item/items the three (3) prong cultivator now only has the center prong (the other two (2) broke off), and the trowel broke at the stem. Obviously high carbon steel isn't what it used to be !

Do NOT buy these. They all broke within 15 minutes of using. Thought I got a bad batch and was sent a replacement and they too broke. Now I have to waste my time to send them all back in order to not be charged for the replacement. Don't waste your money

These were brought to my attention when I was searching for mini-gardening tools. When they arrived, I found that they were full-sized tools for an adult, not a child. I was disappointed not to get the set I thought I was getting but these tools are very well made and I decided to keep them. Took one star off because they were not as I believe they were advertised.

This set of gardening shovel and rake is very easy to use. They are about the length of a bottle of mineral water, they are textured but not heavy. The wooden handle is very smooth and does not rub hands. My little balcony has limited space, so I only keep three pots of small plants. This set of small rakes is so cute for my little garden.recommend

I just used the trowel yesterday and already bent it weeding oxalis outta of my fern garden. My soil isn't tough and oxalis isn't a deep rooted plant. It shouldn't have happened.

These are just 'meh' quality. The trowels are ok, a bit flimsy but work in softer dirt. The rake is the typical 2-piece welded job with the two outer tines welded to the back of the center one. Whoever did that weld needs re-training. It snapped apart the first time I used it, almost as if it were attached with used gum.

I chose this set of tools because it looked the most like my previous set, which I have used for about 30 years. I thought the design looked good, except for the piece between the trowel and its handle. It was designed with a bend in it, instead of straight shaft, and on the 2nd day of use, it bent when digging, and then broke when bent back in place. The quality of the materials in the construction was poor, and not built to last. A one-piece trowel-to-handle is a better design, and this company didn’t offer one like that.

I really like the weight and feel of these. They are heavy enough that I am not afraid to dig into the ground, but are not too difficult for a comfortable grip.
