Yet I can survive without espresso, I am an addict, drinking 5-8 doubles a day. I want access to espresso at work, and I serve three locations where at two I have my espresso makers. I want to have freshly brewed espresso when driving to hiking sites, and when camping.This one makes excellent single shot espresso with good crema even out of pre-boiled water. Waiting for 10 minutes until the unit boils the water is too much (I want it now!) however it is easy to get a hot water source in the office or when camping, and in the car Aicok can brew while connected, saving the battery charge. Will see how it works over time, but so far it is perfect. Cons: it is bigger than hand presses like Staresso or Wacaco but that's understandabe and is minor, given other benefits like easiness to clean, electric pumping, and better espresso quality.

I was initially about to return the unit since it did not PUMP water. So I tried pumping for several times before it started to work and ever since it has been working OK. BTW, I also tried it without heating up the water (you should keep pressing the button for like 5 sec and hear 2 beeps and let go of the button which forces the pumping to happen right away) and then you will have a good room temperature espresso.

The compressor that extracts the coffee has stopped working.When it did work it was a handy machine for a quick expresso. I enthusiastically bought Nespresso coffee pods and the first few weeks, I was making expresso even when I didn’t particularly want to drink it just to get used to the machine. Working fine till a week past the return date! Now only the water gets heated on the top and when the compressor needs to kick in the machine just stops and displays the green completion light.Not at all worth the $63 dollars I paid. Besides the batter charge also does not last for more than 2 cups starting cold.

Bought this machine last year for long car trips. The first one broke after less than 5 uses, luckily within the Amazon Return window. The replacement we have used less than 15 times. It does not work anymore. It heats the water, but the mechanism to punch holes in the capsules stopped working and therefore the machine does not brew the coffee.Instruction manual has ZERO troubles shooting instructions.Stay away from this. The product idea I still like but the design is bad and fragile

I tried at least 12 times. The water did get hot but it was better if I made hot water. The espresso never made because the design does not allow fot proper penetration of the nespresso capsule. I really wanted this to work. I do not recommend.

Thick heavy plastic unit, multiple ways to power it but limited number of pods work _ the original nespresso ones and 1 or 2 SS brand pods fit.

Just got my portable espresso maker, it is so convenient. It doesn’t take a lot of space and very easy to use. I have to have my morning coffee everyday but it always take long time to make, with this I can easily bring it With me everywhere and make my favorite espresso at my office and for road trip. On top of that, it is so good looking espresso maker.

Love this machine, I use it with nespresso capsules. Works much faster if hot water is used. On a full charge it will make 3 espressos if regular/cold water is used, more if hot. Take it with me to hotels and use it with portable milk frother for lattes, if traveling in the car just add it to cold milk for cold iced coffee.
