Killjoys Season 2 [Blu-ray]

Question: was the second series directed by a different person? If not it sure seems like it. Like they decided to vault face and go a totally new direction with this series. Well with the main plot anyway. Davin being captured at the end of the first season doesn't seem to have any major effect on the plot, he is just released in the end so Dutch needs not bother trying to rescue him. Plus the Cline who seemed to be billed as the big bad behind the scenes turns out to not be. The whole tone from the first season seems to have changed from being about a group of outsiders just trying to get by into now a galactic wide battle for freedom from slime. Don't get me wrong it's still a good watch but it just seems like a bit change.

I enjoyed this continuing Saga of a Trio of Loveable rogues. Plays out a bit like Firefly, so if you are into that kind of thing then you will find more of it here. Seems like the best Sci-Fi series are coming from Canada at the moment. Both this and "Dark Matter" should keep Sci-Fi fans going for quite some time.

As with Season 1 a really entertaining series with great chemistry between the cast members, a fun blend of humour and action and some twists that effect at least one major character that greatly change the stakes of where the series is going. Get this and enjoy!

A must see sci-fi!!!!

A new kind of Sci Fi - still in a Galaxy far, far away - and still so familiar - the poor against the filthy Rich - and With Our heroes as a neutral Third party.

I bought seasons 1 and 2 at the same time; the idea of 'futuristic bounty hunters' seemed appealing but in actuality there was very little 'bounty hunting' and quite frankly the series just doesn't seem to be going anywhere - or if it is, it's wandering about lost en-route in a very feminist way.
