Stunned by Grace: it's beyond amazing Paperback – May 22, 2020

LIFE CHANGING!!!!

What a joy to read Stunned by Grace by Frank Friedmann with Joshua Gordon! I think I underlined more than I left un-inked, but it was all such rich truth that I wanted to recall it all. If you need to stop striving, to rest, and to take in the abundance that God has for you, then pick this book up. “Will you dare to believe what God says about you being in Christ?... There is nothing you can do to make the Father stop loving you…There is nothing you can do to make the Father love you more because God loves you fully.” What a treasure to have so many pages of truth about the Lord and his heart for us. “In Him we are brand new creations; righteous, fully loved, completely forgiven, accepted, and adopted into the family of God as His own children.” Amen and amen! I could go on and on, but I will leave this last bit here: “Sure, I had a new identity, but I was still living in an economy of performance that placed the attention on me. The words ought, should, must, and have to dominated by life, and I couldn’t live up to them…We’re not only saved by grace, we live by grace.” Dive deep into Romans 5:17 with this book and revel in Christ’s free gift and abundance of grace.

I have found no book that more capably presents the keys to understanding our relationship with Jesus and our position in the kingdom of heaven.

If you're someone who struggles with low self esteem, identify, guilt/shame, or other similar problems this is the book for you. I'm on page 170 of 220, and throughout the book as I get closer to the end my breathing becomes easier.Serving a Savior that was perfect and died on the cross for our sins has always been intimidating to me. Just the sheer idea of me receiving the grace of God made me feel guilty, unworthy; but Frank writes this book together so well you can't but help to fall in love all over again with the grace of God.I recently learned the word forgiveness in the Bible means simply "to let go." This is what this book has helped me do. I don't have to worry about the past, present, or future, I just have to RECEIVE what has already been done for me.No more achieving!

We are using this book in our community Bible Study and enjoying it very much. Very insightful, thought-provoking and Bible-based book. We are looking forward to the author coming to our community next weekend for a seminar /presentation.

I just finished this book, and I am going to read it again, right away! Not because it was hard to understand, but because it was so good and nourishing to my soul. Frank Friedmann writes such clear and yet simple truth that I wanted to stop and highlight his words several times per page! I am and have been a grace-girl for quite a long time now, and I still consumed this book with joy and gratitude. God's grace really IS stunning!

This is one of those books. You can hardly put it down but you know if you keep reading it, it will come to an end. This book explains the gospel in terms anyone can understand but goes far past just "you sins were forgiven". Just the thoughts alone about we are significant because we are "a container for God" have given me a new place of rest and joy. The humor combined with a readable style and larger-than-average font and short chapters make this a book that people who struggle to read would be able to enjoy. Most refreshing title I have read in years.

I just finished reading Stunned By Grace by Frank Friedmann. WOW! What an incredible study of Romans 5:17. Frank spells out why we, as believers, are in no way under law, but under Grace......both for our Salvation and for living our Life. Easily understood concepts with Scripture to back them up. Thanks, Frank, for writing this. It is such a blessing!!!

Frank has a rare and special ability in that he ministers real life when he teaches. While reading this book I could feel my soul exhaling stress and being replaced with peace and rest. In this book, you will hear the Holy Spirit affirming who you are and the freedom, power, and rest that our union with Jesus brings.

I’d recommend this book to anyone who has experienced their life in Christ as difficult, wearying, restless, deprived, constantly hungry and thirsty. It’s time to rest. It’s finished. It’s for freedom that we’ve been set free. He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!

I adore Frank Friedmann. He has an amazing way of presenting deep theological teaching in such a simple way that all can understand.You are in for a real treat, reading this book. Perhaps too, discovering who you are in Christ, will truly set you free...

I really enjoyed this book…..the author really explained the grace of God and gave me even a deeper appreciation for what Jesus accomplished on the cross.

This was a great book. Frank’s writing is clear and relatable. I will recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about experiencing Christ in their daily lives.
