5W Solar Water Pump KIT: DC Brushless Submersible Water Pump 124 GpH with 12V 5W Solar Panel for Birdbath Fountain, Fish Pond, and Garden Water Features (No Backup Battery)

I was not crazy about this having to have constant bright sun or it will shut down....however, I have been running this daily for about a month and the lack of a battery is not a problem. It was very clouded in all day yesterday and though it ran a bit slower it ran all day.. I clean the filter on the pump every night, easy to do, and have had no problems. I have a 25 gallon Husky tote box and have put several small holes in the top. the pump is in the box and the fountain water drops back on the top and drains back into the holding tank replenishing itself. The bell feature looks very nice. I am happy with this and so are the birds!! nice rugged little pump!

The media could not be loaded.  The pump works well. I love the solar idea so I didn't have to run electricity. I've only had it two days so if something goes wrong I'll post an update. I made this fountain. It's a beautiful addition to my yard. If I was to criticize anything is that it does not store power. Once the the sun stops hitting the panel, the fountain shuts off. I would have loved to showcased it at night. Overall, great pump! No problems

It took about fifteen minutes of me installing this pump for it to break into pieces. The lip to hold in The removable portion for cleaning it out chipped right off. Right now some electrical tape is doing the trick but I’m really disappointed.

This kits is well worth the money. In the past, we’ve bought small size & we have been lucky to get 2 years use. This year we ordered this kit. The water flow is stronger & it’s nice to sit on our front porch & hear the water.

Worked the first two days.It is now dead and not running.There is full sun out and pump doesnt even try to make a sound anymore.At this point must try to trouble shoot and see if issue is the panel or wire or the pumpPanel seems sturdy.Wire little weak.And pump is a guess at this pointWhen it work it was okay.Still disappointed. For the size of the panel, i would expect more powerAlso these wires are horrible.Cannot use with other solar accessories as the plugs are different.Dont know why product didnt make it to the universal solar plugs that is available today.So this leads me to believe its either a cheaply made product. Or a older earlier version.Do yourself a favor and get another product beside this. I am very disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because it worked for 2 days. But i would will not be buying this product again.Update on the product - after inspecting the motor i disassemble it and saw that the propeller inside was damaged. In which loose particles caused blockage not allowing the motor to turn.After removing it, motor did turn again. However this was probably the reason as to why the pump seem to not have any full power at all.I managed to make my own propeller with super glue and plastic. In which case pump is working good. Even better then the original.I give it three stars now. But again im still disappointed.

Easy to install in my small patio fountain. It's small made with a medium size pot and a 5 gallon bucket. Make sure you have plenty of sunlight or it doesn't work well at all.

Everything seamed to be ok, looked as if it would’ve been strong enough for my small fountain. But when it says direct sunlight, it means DIRECTLY lined up with the sun!

Excellent pump. A real work horse ! Only lasted a year and just quit!! No signs of any obstructions or damage

We needed a solar pump powerful enough to run our outdoor small waterfall. After buying a smaller one that never worked very well we went with this one, great purchase, works perfectly and delivery was on point. Recommended.
