RegattaLyle IV Mens Jacket

Needed a lightweight waterproof jacket for an outdoor concert and ordered this. It's a great fit, light and breathable and looks smart. After at least an hour of pouring rain it did its job in keeping me dry. Top marks from me!

Very very nice jacket, good insulation and windproof / waterproof features. It surprised me how nice it works, we got two pairs once we tried it, as it does the work fantastically. It fits nicely and has wrist rubber to avoid water going inside. As well, it is packable so you can carry anywhere and ultra light. Very good purchase!

I work outdoors every day and walk miles from my vehicle so I appreciate good waterproofs, this jacket is great when theres the chance of rain but it's too warm to wear even an unlined jacket 'just in case'. The jacket folds up into one of it's own pockets and can be worn like a bum bag on it's own belt, if the rain comes on it quickly unfolds into a full sized jacket with a hood in the collar, it's been a dry summer so I've only needed to use it a couple of times, but so far the rain proofing has been excellent, it's comfortable and it doesn't look too 'pack a mac' when you're wearing it. Folding it back into the pouch is a bit of an acquired skill but is pretty quick & easy when you have it. I also like the fact that the hood folds into the collar as I prefer to wear a hat unless it's absolutely freezing rain as I don't like having my ears covered and this keeps it out of the way.My only dislike is the belt, the catch is good and secure despite being a small plastic item, but the belt itself is too springy elastic so it can bounce around as you walk and it has already started to fray quite badly, I'd have preferred a non elasticated strap. Overall though this is very good for what it is, a light jacket for occasional use that you can carry with you rather than wear in warm weather.

This jacket is exactly what my husband wanted. 'Unremarkable' in style, in positive terms; as such in constant use. Its not warm and in cold weather, will need layers underneath. So xx large size fitted as stated and allowed this. Regatta a quality, reliable brand.

Too small not to size

Waterproofness, although we are now going into the winter period, so I will have to wait a little longer to test it out fully. Arm sleeve cuffs could do with a little more elastication around the wrists. Good value for money( so far)

Urlaub auf Sylt mit dieser Jacke im Gepäck...kam auch leider zum Einsatz aber so kann ich sagen ..Sie tut was sie soll! 😉
